Covid! no problem. Fired from your job! pfft! what ever bro. Girl leave you? Yah that sucks... BUT what if you could turn that frown upside down and play the night away? That what we are talking about here. a life line to all those self absorbed issues. Gone! no need to deal with it or cope at all. Grab your self a Hot and Ready from Little Caesars and chow down while not loosing power to your most favorite controller. This is the cord we all wish Xbox came with.

Brutal, definitely not an Xbox official cord, and it was missing the battery. 1 star for lying on 2 accounts, missing parts.

The batteries in these are pooched. They've obviously been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a very long time. They work fine as a corded controller when they're plugged in, but if you're looking for wireless capabilities this is not a good buy. Shame.

After engaging in a battery tug of war with my significant other, I decided to put the Xbox360 controller down and release it of its lithium counterparts. I decided it was high time to get the play & charge kit.Finding one for $7 was a steal especially when the seller was not only a trusted business but also local. It arrived & I tore open the package to find that I had won one over the corporate conglomerate as my $7 had not only gotten me the play & charge kit, but also the controller that comes with it, I believe this would be around $60 new...Shortly after celebrating my victory I come to find out that the controllers battery wont hold a charge. So now with my controller surplus being at 4+ I still havent obtained the one thing I came for, and realize it would be stupid for me to return the controller as I'd actually be losing $$$$....?

It is indeed better than buying disposable batteries but the charge on this charge and play kit has not lasted twenty five hours for me, not once. It also doesn't last nearly as long as the other one I bought that came with the red controller (I would recommend getting the one that comes with the controller if you're set on buying one).BUT...both kits "hum" into my headset while connected for charge during game play. Sometimes it makes my mic stop working in game and I have to "reset" my console to get my mic to work again, yep, turn it off and on again. BUT it doesn't happen ALL of the time, just sometimes, which is more than enough when I'm playing with friends! Right!?! It is better than constantly buying batteries though...for real! BUT...I think I'll take Jason C. Hill's advice for next time though and just buy rechargeable batteries instead of a kit.Since I've had it, the charge has lasted about ten to twelve hours each time. It lasted fifteen hours once, and only once.

This product is great. Unlike a lot of the attachments that Microsoft has for the XBox 360 that seem very cheaply made (ie their headsets), this one lasts, saves you from a ton of hassle, and is worth the price you'll pay for it (especially at its current [...]. For those who have ever experienced the hair-raising terror that results from a controller dying in the middle of an XBox Live game and would rather never go through that traumatizing experience again, buy this product. Just keep the charger plugged into the 360 and the next time your controller dies mid-game, just grab the controller-end of the charger, plug it into your controller, and smash that big X button thing in the middle of the controller. Your controller will be back on in seconds, and it will even be charging the battery pack as you play! The best part of these is that if you leave it plugged into the 360 overnight, the 360 will stay on in low-power mode and stay that way until your batter pack is completely charged! Brilliance!

If you play online a lot with friends, this is a great product to avoid black outs in the middle of the game. Instead of having to turn off your controller to replace new batteries, you just plug the cord directly to the controller without suddenly disappearing in the middle of a game. If you see a good deal on this product - get it!

I have purchased two play and charge kits. The first I bought along with my Xbox 360 Pro. Later I decided to go with the Quick Charge kit. When my nephew got his Xbox 360, I gave him a battery and the USB charge cable for his wireless controller, so that left me short a battery. It was actually cheaper to buy a play and charge kit than just a battery alone. So if your just looking for a rechargeable battery, buy this instead, save a few bucks, and get the charge cable for free! The play and charge kit works pretty well, it takes awhile to recharge a battery. If you play a lot (like me) and have the money, go with the Quick Charge kit. That way you'll always have a battery hot and ready to go when the gaming jones hits.

I looked at a few different charging systems for the xbox360 controller. I was using up a pack of batteries every few weeks and it was getting expensive. I really like this charge and play system. It does the job of keeping my batteries charged. Although my system is set up far away from my couch, far enough away from my Xbox that I have to sit fairly close to actually charge. I need to have the box powered up to charge the controller so if you are trying to charge the controller wile you're not playing with the system, it can be sort of a pain. But overall I would recommend this product. It works great and doesn't cost as much as some of the alternatives.
