This is obviously not a serious shirt. The printing is dye sublimated and I would rate it as “okay.” There is a fair bit of pixellation in the design, so that it looks cheesy up close.From a few feet away: it’s perfect, though.

I don't have the brain power to make kids school costumes. This shirt was perfect, fit the requirement for 4th grade, state history day presentation as George Washington, and it can be worn again. The teacher loved it, no messy costume to fiddle with.

This shirt color is not what was in description supposed to be blue but it is actually purple. Read the size chart I wear a large but ordered a medium and it fits like a typical large. Material is comfortable and breathable. serves its purpose.

As I build out my Victorian costume for conventions and Halloween, I needed a shirt that would be unobtrusive and thematically-appropriate. While this has more of a military general look (specifically the stars), under a Steampunk-style coat you'll only see the vest and ruffle. That's unfortunately a problem.This is a terrible screen print. It's not a big deal for most of the costume because you probably won't see it, but the neck ruffle in the picture is edited in to look far more lifelike than it is on the actual shirt. The way it looks in the photo, I thought perhaps there was an actual ruffle sticking out of the shirt but nope, this is just one big screen print. The ruffle is all white, and because the print is faded, it looks like a white blob. And the thing you notice the most is that blurry neck ruffle, because that's right below your chin.If you have enough clothes going over it, this will still work. I've learned that when wearing costume layers, thin shirts like this are critical in keeping cool, and the fact that it's made of both polyester and spandex makes it extra comfortable. But it simply won't hold up to inspection without anything over it, so if you're looking for a comfortable thematic shirt, this one is more comfortable than thematic.

When it comes to Halloween, I am all in. My husband is a little more take it or leave it. I know I can even get him to to dawn a Tee for a costume. It is polyester & spandex, so comfortable with some stretch. It is like the tees he wears for softball, so no concern that it isn’t cotton. As it is Fall, the polyester should not be too warm. Material isn’t overly thick. Also, if washed properly in cold water, the colors shouldn’t fade, like they would with cotton. Hoping to get him to wear a wig, glasses & boots to take it up a notch….maybe even a tricorn hat? He is a large, but occasionally wears an XL. As it is for a late October costume party, went for a XL so he can wear an undershirt beneath it. He likes it, so all is good. It is a bit long, but will cover belt area, so pants style isn’t as important. Easy costume, comfortable fit.
