Once its been in the freezer it works quick and just like it should! Make sure you use yogurt or whole dairy products. I tried almond milk and it did freeze, but it was very choppy not so much rolled ice cream. It tastes great though and makes a great snack like Italian ice out of anything!

I found this frozen yogurt maker pretty easy to use. Stick it in the freezer overnight, then toss in some fruit and yogurt, smoothing it out as you go. After around 10-15 mins, it's ready to scrape and eat! Simple for everyone and it works well. Fairly easy to clean as well though it's best to wait until it thaws. Kids had fun with it and it helped them want to eat something a bit more healthy than fast food ice cream. So that's a win! Comes with some handy accessories too.

My kids and I were super stoked about making easy Ice Cream! However, it is important to know that leaving it in the freezer face down between 8-12 hours to prep it and then once adding the liquid desired (we tried my eggnog) took about 2-3 more hours in the fridge before we really had a frozen dessert. It was mostly an Ice crystal dessert, but worth the try... next we are going to try the recommended yogurt... and at this point it is cleaned as soon as used and then immediately refrozen to make sure it is ready for any day we want to make more frozen dessert since it takes 8-12 hours to get it started.Still a fun activity with the kids, Recommend
