We ordered this multi-purpose pole with one goal in mind...painting. The pole has a tip at the end you will need to remove to reveal a screw on tip. The tip fits our rollers just fine. The pole is easy to adjust for extension or shortening in three sections. There is nothing flimsy about the pole, it feels really solid.We finally got our roof replaced from the beating it took in Hurricane Beryl. What we learned during the roofing was that the ferocious wind blasted our hardy planked chimney and removed the paint on one side. Even standing on the roof, the chimney extends about 15 feet high. That's what makes this pole so handy. We can paint without a ladder. Still plenty of caution needed on the roof, of course.What you'll find is that you don't have perfect control over your roller when your stick is fully extended. That's not the stick's fault, just physics. Also, watch how much paint you put on your roller when going vertical. Any splatter is coming right back at you. Still, a very useful stick that folds in to about 4 feet.Recommended.
