These work great for woodturning. Grind them and go! Holds the burr, nice steel.

I had success using one of these on a sax reed. Turned the new/dry reed on it's back and lightly used the long edge flat on the reed to shave miniscule amount in order to flatten the back table. Reed sits flatter on the mouthpiece and creates and better seal. There may be other ways to improve reeds with this tool. Just getting started. The reed I worked on is improved for sure.

For the cost it’s great. Was able to cut in half and make 3 double ended tools.

It's worth paying a wee bit extra, not that these are expensive at all, but for this quality one would usually expect to pay more. I know I'll get many happy months of machining from these and will buy more when I have the funds, though I'll probably get 1/2" as I have to shim these little ones, roughly 1/2" is what I was hoping for, I got confused with the metric stuff. Purely my fault, Cheers!
