I wanted to love this bag. It comes in cool colors, has a really easy-to-access front pocket (that uses the mesh as its rear side), a roll-top dry bag built into the back, and its big enough to contain almost all your gear. I used it to hold my wet suit (including hood, gloves, and booties), fins, mask, regulator rig, and dive computer. The BCD was too bulky and heavy to fit in there with all the other stuff, especially with weights, so I carried that separately. I used a folding roller cart to hold my two tanks, BCD+weights, and this XS Scuba Seaside Elite Mesh Backpack. Unfortunately, the backpack straps on this product are VERY thin and the stitching was apparently super weak. The straps tore out on day 3 of usage! If they fixed the backpack straps so that they wouldn't rip out, I would recommend his bag without hesitation. As it is, these straps are not built to last, so I would suggest getting another mesh bag to hold your stuff.

Initially loved the features and size of this bag. After only 1 dive trip where I used it to carry a standard warm water dive kit (fins, travel BCD, regulator, mask, diveskin), the backpack strap broke and can't be fixed. My previous bag lasted almost 10 years, to have this one break on the first trip, was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately the return window has closed so I can't get my money back or replacement. Very disappointing.

First, this bag looks pretty sweet. Plenty of room for a full dive kit. Back panel is a roll top dry bag - very neat. The whole thing feels reasonably durable. Unfortunately, the zipper sheered in half the first time I operated it right out of the bag. The zipper itself is a light plastic. It looks like there is some clever spring locking mechanism inside it that locks it in place unless the pull is not 100% vertical. Any off angle, by design, will bind the zipper. Guess what is difficult to do with 2 1/2' tall limp bag? Hold it in a completely straight line. Guess what happens with thin plastic put under minor stress? It breaks. A simple steel or other durable material is a far better choice for a stress point. This is design decision is unfortunate. Glad it happened today rather than on a boat.

Ended up not even needing this bag on my trip; the dive resort covered our needs (valet diving-rocks) HOWEVER, the bag was well made, sturdy, large enough to hold my: bcd, regulator, booties, fins, mask, snorkel, full wetsuit, additional skins, had a dry side for a change of clothing/towel/shoes/wallet...etc

Purchased this bag because I like the options of top or side access. The dry bag is perfect and allowed me to leave one bag at the dock on a recent dive trip, the back pocket is perfect for my save a dive kit or even a skin or thin wetsuit. The Velcro pocket up front is just right for quick access stuff. I kept mask defog and ear beer in the front pocket. It’s just right.

This is a giant bag! It is perfect for carrying a full set of gear. My gear is coldwater and fits with a lot of extra room. The bag is holding up nicely. The dry compartment is a huge bonus as well.
