I shopped by BTU and this stove seems to deliver all that it promises. I have now way to measure BTUs but it offers way more than I need. Searing steak in a carbon steel pan proved to me this is the best choice. I don't have my cast iron pans with me but I'm certain this burner will do that just as well. The name brand propane burners in my camper are useless compared to this.

Needed an outdoor kitchen during a kitchen re-do......now it is a permanent fixture on my lanai. Hotter than 40 hells. Turned the grates upside down to hold a wok. Steller product.

Spring went out of shape and caused flame leakage burning out piezo electric starter. Product generally seems unsafe.seller's direct customer response is mocking me by sending scripted responses to my query.DO NOT BUY!

I must preface this review by saying that I returned this item, unused. However, knowing the inch scale and the specs of the unit before the purchase, I was startled by the overall size of this unit.Along with the size, the gauge (thin), of the one piece stainless steel body allowed distortion to lower its appeal. The unit, unencumbered by a pot or pan, did not sit flat on a flat surface. Likely, this would not be an issue once a heavy pot or pan was placed for cooking. There is no substructure making this unit rigid. It is light weight.The guts of the unit seemed fine, simple and of decent craftsmanship, at least on this unit. I liked the ability to control the amount of air allowed into the gas chambers.
