I adore this thing, I have apple car play in my 21’ mustang and couldn't stand not having it in my 17’ renegade but never wanted to mess with buying a head unit, wiring harness and trying to find a trim kit to fit that head unit and my car. These is plug and play, keeps my factory back up camera and works great. Its smooth, tons of customization with the display and audio and has little display that pops up if your door or trunk is open. My only complaint is I wish it was a tad brighter but overall is great for 250$

My 2020 jeep renegade screen went completely black but radio/ Bluetooth still worked. We ordered this screen/system to replace and I LOVE IT! Maybe took 45 mins to remove old system and replace with this one. I think it’s better than the original that it came with and I’m very happy with this purchase! Worth it!!!!

Vehicle: 2017 Jeep RenegadePros:• It fit perfectly and looks great on my 2017 Jeep Renegade. You’d think that it came with the vehicle as a factory part• Apple CarPlay connected perfectly! I can access my text contacts, messages, music, and maps via touch screen or voice command.• Connects to existing backup camera with guide (does have a little delay when putting the vehicle in reverse)• Steering wheel controls work great (volume, scanner/skip)• Touch screen responds very quickly and smoothly• GPS works great, follows the mapCons:• The user manual does come with an installation page but it’s not very descriptive or helpful for someone who isn’t too familiar with vehicles/wiring. I watched the video provided to get the idea of what to do but had to figure some out on my own as well because even the video doesn’t explain well• Installation should take like 15-20min if it just had a proper guide on installation, also gives me anxiety wondering if I connected it right and if it will give me problems in the future due to user error• The USB harness will require an adapter sold separately or will have to be manipulated to connect correctly• The screen doesn’t turn on if the engine is not running, not a huge deal but kind of annoyingI will update my review if needed as time goes on. It’s just day one!

Absolutely no install instructions with the unit. Had to watch a Youtube video. Got me through the install without an issue now trying to figure out why most if not all FM channels are static, or not even coming through. Be aware. The unit seems great but if you you've never installed before and don't fell comfortable, may be overwhelming for you. Xtrons needs to included install instructions on this.

La instalación fue muy sencilla pero si les recomiendo ver algunos videos tutoriales en Internet tiene muchísimas funciones más que el estereo que viene de fabrica el cual tuve que remplazar por und año en la pantalla y la agencia como siempre no sabían que hacer para arreglarlo... Viene con bandeja para sim la cual probé con la red de Telcel y funciona también puedes agregarle muchas aplicaciones de Android lo cual hace un poco más bersatil el equipo..El tema del usb parece ser de todos por lo que hay que romper un poco el conector para que fruncióne, el carplay inalambrico esta genial aunque es complicado cambiar cuando hay varios teléfonos que ya se han conectado.. Compra recomendada

I was hesitant for so long to replace the Headunit in my Jeep due to all the compatibility issues with OEM equipment. This unit was really easy to install in my 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk.Some Key Points:1. It worked with the OEM backup camera2. Steering wheel controls were maintained3. Made my OEM Speakers sound so much better4. All harnesses needed are included in package5. Quick to boot up6. Worked on 4G with Google Fi/TMobile7. It takes micro SIM cards only, most phones use nano so I had to by cheap converter8. I had an older unit then what is pictured as the before picture and it still workedOverall I am very satisfied, I wish there were some installation instructions but it is not to hard to figure out.Basically there is the main harness where you need to cross connect Audio and camera outputs to another harness that hangs off a different spot. Once you do that the main Harness is plug and play. The 3 additional wires that are hanging off the OEM head unit are 2 antenna wires and a mini USB is for the USB plug below the unit. I hope this helps somebody.I highly recommend this product because it is an all in one kit that fits perfectly into the Renegade. Buy this and save yourself the hassle of trying to figure out what unit, mounting equipment, and harnesses you need.

I installed this in my 2016 Jeep Renegade and it took a little bit because there was no install instructions. I am pretty technically savvy so it was ok to install but with no install instructions the average user will have problems installing it.Once I got everything hooked up and done I was thoroughly impressed by the sound quality. It is great for the low cost of the unit.Problems I have with it....Android auto connected right up but I am not able to get calls to go through the head unit at all. Quite the downfall as it says you can hands-free make calls using the head unit when your phone is connected to it.Another problem I have is I cannot adjust the balance/fade between the front/back left/right. When you try to adjust the speakers it does absolutely nothing.Last problem I have is the backup camera works but is extremely blurry and there is no explanation as to why when it was crisp with the factory radio.
