It's pricey software but after only getting about 25% successful programing with chirp....this solution works 100% of the time.

This product set is much more expensive here than it is on other websites, I thought it was because it comes with whatever that pocket reference card is that has the US, but the pocket reference card is literally a tiny business card. Save yourself some nearly 20 dollars and get it at HRO or DX engineering.

I originally purchased a cheaper cable (much cheaper) and after a few days of hits & misses I finally broke down and ordered this cable. I will admit I was reluctant to pay the big price difference, but in the end it was well worth it! Smooth and seamless uploads/downloads. Unlike the cheaper cable I ordered, this cable is a quality built cable which should last a long time. The included software also appears to be quality software with instructions written in English. Do yourself a favor and just do it.....or you can experiment with cheaper cables and might luck out!
