So far so good. My Xbox One kept powering off mid-game. I originally suspected overheating due to its location, but even after I relocated the console and original power supply to an open, cooler space, the crashes continued. I’ve had this replacement for about 2 weeks so far and my Xbox has not powered off since using it. I don’t find it to be noisy like other reviews have mentioned.

I bought this brick when my Xbox one’s power brick got surged one day. It was fair priced and with prime came immediately, which is good because this was before I had my S and I would hate to wait to play my Xbox any longer than necessary.As soon as I plugged it in my Xbox hummed back to life and I was so relieved as someone who had lost two 360’s in the year prior to random RROD. I saw some reviews warning about fire hazard, I personally had no issue. The first month or so I was very cautious to unplug the brick at night while sleeping but eventually that habit got dropped and I never experienced an issue. That’s not to say others didn’t or won’t, if you buy this maybe just go my route and unplug it if you won’t be in the vicinity for long amounts of time. Small price to pay to bring your Xbox back to life for a lower price than most replacement bricks!

Works fine. Not extra noise like some others have complained about. And you can't beat the lower price. Even if it side make a bit of noise. I wear headphones anyway

I got this because my OG powerbrick died. I read the reviews (there are two four star replacements, this one had less 1 star reviews). I haven't had any noise issues (you can feel the fan if you put your hand over it). I've had a couple of 3-5 hour sessions with it. Was it warm? Yeah. Was it scary hot? Not at all. My guess is that the quality assurance at the factory that makes this is borderline non-existent and so the build quality is super variable.

Noise level:For what it is, it’s pretty good. The noise isn’t completely silent, but I’m not sure if you could find much better. If you’re not sitting directly in front of your screen then it’s hardly noticeable, and pretty much completely unnoticeable if you have your volume turned up slightly. One downside is that I’ve noticed that it stays on for a few minutes after you turn off your system however it’s manageable for the price and product.Sheerness?:Not 100% on what this word means but if it means the quality of the product then you’re in luck. I’ve had mine for a few months now and no problems at all with heavy usage. Even having it on playing for 10+ hours, no increase in noise, no lagging, and the actual power box doesn’t seem to reach too high of a temperature where it might be dangerous. Overall I am very pleased with how well this has held up.Value for money:Trust me, compared to all the other more expensive options out there, I think this is your best option. It’s cheaper than most others I could find and has given me plenty of value. A great option if your original power box has stopped working and would recommend this one over the more expensive options.
