Just got it this afternoon. Couldn't wait, and with great excitement, set it up, clipped it into my 3/8 impact gun, grabbed a 1/4" drill bit and eye matie it's "holes a way".Us it as designed and it should last for years. And so it should be with this little key-less chuck.I'm happy.Tom

This works so well that when I lent it to my brother in-law, he never returned it and uses it on his carpentry projects, daily. Best bang for the buck and fits most power tools on the market. Even fits hand tools. Doesn't wobble and weighs very little because it is intended for light to medium work loads. NOT HEAVY DUTY!

This thing locked up and was unable to release my drill bit out of it so Amazon got a drill bit. It was so hard to try and open that I got 2 large pliers and tried to get it to move but I tore it up cheap plastic junk I suggest spend a few more bucks and get a steel one.

I use a cordless quick-change drill for light indoor household work (dry wall, pilot holes in studs, etc.) and occasionally need to convert to a keyless chuck for certain bits. This works pretty well for that purpose. Affordable (paid $10), easy to use, and no frills. It is slightly wobbly, but that's unavoidable when using any adapter like this. It's not bulletproof, but is sturdy enough to handle light work. It works in a pinch for what I need and saved me the expense of having to buy yet another power tool for now. However, you shouldn't rely on this for heavy and/or precise work.

My drill died the day after I bought an impact driver so I started looking and this little baby popped up. I read reviews and decedide to buy. I LOVE IT! Excellent quality, pro look and machined very well. UPDATE! 5-5-20. Drilled a hole in wooden post and could not remove the bit! Plastic cover just slipped. Cut cover off and still could not remove the bit. Sent back and got a replacement fast. It's working so far.

I do a lot of work with my power tools. I am constantly changing out bits and drills into my drill. This was a great idea, although it really seems like they chinced on the most important part(IMO), the chuck that holds the bits in. I have now went through 3 different iterations of this. This was the best at first, but when I would use anything over .125 thick in diameter, it would essentially lock up the chuck and you would then have to resort to using some pliers to loosen it back up. Upon doing this the 3rd time the back portion of the plastic chuck came completely off, as it is only barely pressed on to a knurled surface. I believe the front is also, but it hasn't come off yet, though I have stopped using it anyways. If you use this for light duty it should work pretty good and with small drills, but if you use this on anything that will cause the impactor part of the impact drive to engage, it will essentially cause the chuck to wrench tight on whatever is in it. Not a good design once again, but for the price you could get several and just never take the bits out that you are using, just plop another chuck in with another tool...

My original review for the Yakamoz keyless quick change drill chuck was a one-star. While my 3/8 inch drill bit attached just fine in the drill chuck adapter, after I drilled a 1-1/8 inch hole into a wood panel I could not release the drill bit from the chuck without taking it apart and using a clamp to loosen the chuck. Needless to say, I was disappointed.I was surprised when Yakamoz contacted me and offered to send me the all-metal keyed version of their drill chuck adapter as a replacement. I used it to drill a 1-1/8 inch hole into a 3/4-inch thick wood panel just as I did with the aforementioned keyless chuck adapter. It performed without a problem and I was able to easily remove my drill bit from the keyed chuck.Lesson learned. The Yakamoz "keyless" drill chuck adapter was definitely not designed to use for heavy duty wood drilling. However, the all-metal "keyed" drill chuck adapter is stronger and more durable to use for wood drilling projects. My recommendation is to only use the keyless drill chuck as a screwdriver adapter. My compliments and thanks to Yakamoz for their excellent customer support.
