We love using the Yakima Rooster Tails. We can catch numerous different species of fish from crappie, walleye, white bass, and bluegill. We have purchased other brands in the past and they don't seem to spin as good as the Yakima lures.

I literally start every bass fishing outing with these. I've lost count how many large mouth, crappie, blue gil and catfish (yes, I said catfish) i've hauled in with these. If you finesse them just right, you can fish top, mid and bottom in 1-5' of water and have a great day of catching doing it.

Used the green/pink one in NOCo. Pulled in 5 rainbow in an hour on a kids rod. Fly fisherman around me not getting squat. Maybe the fish stopped feeding but the other two colors didn’t get a bite

They work well for catching fish but they are line twisters by design. They twist my line even when using a tiny snap swivel. If you don't mind changing the line on your reel more often they will be great.
