It’s almost magic how light this stand is, however there is a serious design flaw with it. You cannot spin the legs around the pedal - the pedal and the legs are one cast piece - therefore if you use a double pedal you can’t swing the legs around in a way that allows you to put the second bass drum pedal next to the hihat pedal. That’s a huge swing and miss as 50% of the drum market uses a double pedal. If you slide your pedal under the leg it will rub and cause damage. Could have been the most perfect piece of hardware ever if that small issue was revamped.

Realmente ligero, lo que lo hace muy útil a la hora de cargar, uso platos ACustom que son bastante pesados y este pedal lo mueve sin mayor problema, la única falla que podría presentar es que no trae el tope de seguridad en el poste que sujeta la parte superior y la inferior y si tuve problemas de que se bajaba un poco el poste, haciendo que en la actuación en directo tratara de apretar más y más el poste lo que a la larga se que puede causar daño estructural, nada que una pequeña grapa que sujete la altura deseada no solucione,

Very stable for its lightness! Works great! I highly recommend! If weight of hardware is a problem for you, this is the hi-hat to use!

I rarely write reviews but I was inspired by the high quality of this hi hat stand. I bought it to lighten my hardware bag for gigs around town. However, not only is it the lightest stand on the market, I was really impressed by the sturdy construction and the responsiveness of the pedal. I play jazz, which involves a lot of left foot work, and this pedal's responsiveness was so precise and easy. Highly recommend, worth every penny.

I didn't like this hit stand for the following reasons:-It tends to move forward a bit too much when I use my left foot-It doesn't have a rotating leg feature that allows one to move their double left bass drum pedal right next to the hi-hat pedal.-the top part of the stand (as well as hit rod) aren't long enough to create a comfortable setting for drummers who sit higher.Once Yamaha fixes those things, I'll be a happy customer.
