The NS-IC400 4-inch in-ceiling speaker is good for 2-channel sound reproduction or home theater use in a living room, dining room, family room or bedroom. The NS-IC400 uses a blue polypropylene mica cone woofer and fluid-cooled soft- dome swivel tweeter in a coaxial design. The tweeter swivels so it can be aimed for most effective high frequency output. The paintable grille with magnets makes it easy to attach or remove for quick installation. The large mounting clamp with non-slip tread grips ceilings or walls firmly for sure installation.

Easy to install especially into tight spaces. Bass is a bit thin but to be expected in a small speaker. Sounds much better than music playing over iPhone speakers!

so i went ahead and purchased the ic-400 to play atmos sounds with my other speakerspolk Lineprothey are very good speakers, with a high quality sound.very easy to installgood looking cause of size.consthey dont play loud. (only 30w)because 1 way speakers kind of missing tweeter details.they are 85 db so they dont blend with others speakers rated +3db aboveill recomend this to play along but not to use for atmosfor my system i replace them with polk vt60they are not bad just not for atmos.

After much research, I chose the 5.25 Yamaha speaker as a ear level surround speaker for my 5.1 system in the bedroom. Glad I did! I previously purchased the 6.5@ Pyle audio speakers for a ceiling install and I think the Yamaha sounds better. They have the full size heavy magnet and are easy to install. Highs are sharp and clear with good mids, The price is a quite a bargain in my opinión. Buy with confidence!

Purchased these for bathroom. Tried another brand as well. These are well worth the extra money. Great low volume range, decent construction and the mounting clips are a great design. They will get quite loud, but at 4” aren’t going to feel as if you’re at a rock concert. The only neutral comment is that the covers are a bit bland.

I put these in the ceiling during a kitchen renovation. Hooked up to a Yamaha micro HiFi receiver with Chromecast sitting in one of the cabinets. Great sound quality! Bass is not too bad either, no need for subwoofer. Clean and easy install!

I have purchased other in ceiling speakers in the past but these yahama's blow them away. Very easy to install, comes with template for cutting hole and the screw tab locks work great. I made a small enclosure to protect the speaker from the insulation in the ceiling and I find it also helps directing the sound in the right direction. I Would highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for great quality and style in a very compact size that still delivers great sound.

I bought these to go with my yamaha receiver. I like to keep similar brands and I think Yamaha is one of the best. Comes with the perfect template to trace on the ceiling. The hinges work great to secure itself to the drywall. Sound is tremendous, have to give it 4 stars because I was hoping they would have the ability to manually position the a tweeter. But it is an excellent product and works very well. When I play my sports video games I keep looking out my window because I literally hear voices all around me, it's a really cool feature
