I've been looking for a stand for my handpan for quite some time. Every stand that I found that said it was specifically for handpans was crazy expensive. Looking at the reviews, I discovered this stand that is advertised as a drum stand but was being used by many who have handpans. Very positive reviews. My personal experience - the spread of the arms with their rubber tips make it really perfect as a handpan stand. It collapses down to a small size when not in use - shorter than a normal walking cane - and is relatively light yet very sturdy and stable. Bonus - it's WAY less expensive than any stand that says it's for handpans. I highly recommend it as a handpan stand.

I have the one that comes with the Yamaha manu kache kit. However that stand can only hold up to 12" drum. I got annoyed with my Pearl stand as it took some much room. I am very happy with this stand, especially for gigging.

Full disclosure, I'm a new drummer. I bought this for a practice pad I keep in my office so I can practice during the workday. The snare stand I was using(~$40 on amazon) was very wobbly and always tilted the pad slightly to one side, so I got fed up with it and dropped the money on this Yamaha. I've gotta say, the difference is huge. This stand os very sturdy. It doesn't flex when tightening it onto the pad and doesn't wobble. Just an all-around great stand. If I ever go acoustic I'll likely be using this stand for my snare.

急遽練習パッドのサイズに合うスタンドが必要になり購入。スネアドラムとしては~12インチのサイズであれば基本的に対応可能だと思います。立奏には向いてないので注意してください。

I could not be more excited about this discovery. For years I have limped along with my standard offset snare stands, even though they never held my snare level, were impossible to adjust, forced the snare to an angle that wasn’t quite right and took up a ton of floor space. This piece of magic fixes all of that:The ball and socket design makes for quick easy and precise angle adjustments. The drum can be rotated In place 360 degrees. the basket sits right above the support, not offset, which makes placement in front of the bass drum and Hi hat a breeze. The legs and feet have a remarkably small footprint with spikes you can engage if you want extra stability. Accommodates nearly any size snare, including 8x14 and as far as I can see, 15 inch snares as well: I’ve used Yamaha hardware for years. I did have one of my early ball joints on a tom mount fail once years ago, but since then I’ve never had an issue, the ball and socket system just works. The ball joint on this stays tight but is easily loosened when you need to. I thought twice about spending nearly as much on this stand as I did on a couple of my snares, but this is totally worth every penny. If you play drums and want precise easily adjusted snare placement and angles, this is for you.

Es una base pequeña para máximo una tarola de 12". Es muy liviana y está muy bien construida. Yo la uso para un framedrum y funciona de maravilla.

I have been playing drums/percussion for going on 25 years (I'm 33). That being said I have seen my fair share of hardware. While this may not be the most heavy duty or complex stand it works. I use it for pad work and small club gigs with a minimalist setup and its perfect for both of those applications. Its one of the few snare stands that has a basket that will collapse small enough to hold an 8" Remo pad without modification. Its lightweight, stable and everything works. For a little under $50 what more do you need?

The vertical ball and socket is superior to other snare stand adjustment designs. It allows the snare to be turned 360 degrees clockwise or counter clockwise without lifting the stand or loosening the height adjustment, and it also allows the snare to be tilted smoothly in any direction for perfect positioning. All the drum's movements are controlled by loosening a single wing nut. The snare basket is also removable. I like the ball and socket way better than the offset, clunky, inelegant DW, and only slightly better than Pearl "GyroLock" tilter, both of which I have owned. The legs have rubber feet with spikes that can be moved in or out depending on the floor surface. This is a fully professional, heavy duty snare stand.

This new Yamaha snare stand design is great - the center ball pivot is a great innovation. It allows for much easier and more accurate adjustment - better than any other snare stand on the market. Plus the pivot point is in the middle rather than off to the side in the typical snare stand design. So pressure is distributed much better through the center of the stand - no more bent parts or slipping wing nuts with this baby! The mechanism to hold the drum works equally well and the spikes on the feet prevent the stand from moving around. All around great snare stand.
