I took a chance with these new Yamaha reeds thinking (hoping) that they would be as good as everything else Yamaha makes. BUT, these are easily the worst reeds I have ever found. If you want synthetic reeds, stick with LEGERE REEDS. They are way much better!

Let's just say I won't buy another one. 2.5 blew like a vandoren blue box 3.5. After over an hour of sanding I can play it. Tone is brighter than the sun, but it still plays in tune and the altissimo speaks
