No tools necessary, just place near where you need it. Places towels, or with clips or hooks, pot holders, near a work area. I don't worry about the little bands keeping the wooden dowel in place. They're fine.

This towel bar is well made and attractive. It's exactly what I was looking for and the wooden towel bar is a nice touch. I will recommend it to anyone looking for a kitchen towel bar.

The magnet is on this very well made! So far it holds up to drying your hands while leaving the towel attached.It is super cute. Holds one towel or as I have them layered. Is not wide enough for 2 side by side , in case you’re not a measurement kind of person.It also came with screws in case you end up wanting to attach it to a wall that way.Overall the quality is pretty good for the price.The little plastic O rings that keep the post from sliding in and out seem a little on the cheaper side. But those are an easy fix if they end up being lost.10/10

I bought this mainly for the attractive design and the ability to put it on my fridge. The functionality is not what I was expecting.There are rubber gaskets (essentially small rubber bands) on the outside of the (unfinished) wooden rod. In order to change the paper towel roll: one rubber band must be removed (without launching it across the room), the entire rod must be removed from the mount, the new roll must be held in place, and the wooden rod must slide through, and then you can install the other rubber gasket that keeps in place.It sounds simple enough, but with any other fixture, the process would be much easier. I think screws, or maybe some sort of hinge system that allows you to lift the rod up, replace the roll, and re-secure it via a lifting hinge/screw would have been preferable. The rubber bands (although ultimately functional) lengthen the chore and cheapen the design.However, the magnet is incredibly strong, and after all is said and done, it works. And it’s pretty.

Awesome for small kitchens! I wanted a towel rack that would be magnetic that I could place high enough outside of my toddler’s reach. Put this guy on the side of my fridge and it works great! The magnet is very strong and I like the wood rod. Matches my all white kitchen perfectly 👍🏼
