This product kept the ticks off of me, but the sprayer is garbage. I bought 3 bottles of it now and all 3 of them the sprayer quit working before I ran out of product. Pretty hard to use without a sprayer.

Bought for my mom who lives in northern MI. The ticks are awful up there. She and her dog would come in covered after a walk. Not with this stuff!!! On the first day of use, she did not do the inside of his ears. Once home, that is the ONLY place she found a tick. It does have a strong smell but it calms down. Worth it !! She sprays their bedding too!

We have a camper at a seasonal site and the ticks are terrible, before using this product we were finding ticks attached to both us and our dogs. Since using this we have been seeing the ticks crawling on us and the dog but they fall off and don’t attach. It smells pleasant and not like chemicals like many other products. It’s great that’s it safe for us and the pup!

This was great for our dogs and we used it all summer and had no issues camping, hiking or at the lake!! highly recommend for the price point.

Tick season is SO bad here in the northeast this summer. My 3 year old had one a week ago & I had one the other day. We do hike a lot as a family & make sure to wear bug spray with Deet. Well…even after wearing that certain bug spray, we were still getting ticks! That is unacceptable. So I tried this out. We went on 2 hikes this weekend & we had nothing! This stuff smells like lemonade & sprays on well. I love that it’s organic& It doesn’t feel greasy or powdery. I even sprayed on the belly of our Boston Terrier (whom ALWAYS has a tick or two crawling on her after a hike) and she did not have one tick on her! We only used this for a weekend but I’m definitely buying more!

The spray comes out as a very fine mist and at a wide angle probably 90 degrees so it is hard to apply. The mist doesn't travel far before blowing away in even the slightest whisp of a breeze. It is hard to get enough spray to adequately cover a small area so you have to repeatedly pressing the spray release button. Probably the worse thing was it was very difficult to hold the tiny can and push the button to release the spray at the same time. Each time you press the button located on top of the can, there is one brief spray, so you have to keep pressing the button while holding the small narrow can. I tried to do it with one hand and both hands but it was equally hard. I usually give up after attempting to spray my shoes and lower legs.I find the scent is unpleasant and could smell it throughout the outdoor activity, and stayed on my clothing for more than a day. One piece of advice is to hold your breath while attempting to apply the spray as it is very easy to inhale the fine mist as I did, which cannot be a good thing.
