Coming from the bicycle world you can find a lot of chain rings that in excess of 60 $70 I purchased this for and Bmx and I end up buying three other ones for the price that I could spend on one of the competitors. And they also look good.

I bought two of these chainrings: one 46 tooth and the other 44 tooth. I used them for a 1x drive train conversion on a gravel bike buildup. I already had FSA Gossamer crank arms, so I ordered the 5-bolt 110BCD chainrings. When I got them, I was amazed at the quality of machining and finishing for a chainring at this price. They look really good with the black and polished alloy finish. Lightweight, too. I showed them to my cycling buddy, and he too was amazed. For a 1x drive train, to avoid dropping the chain, a chainring with alternating positive and negative offset teeth is needed (the wide link in the chain rides on the positive tooth and the narrow link in the chain rides on the negative tooth). These chainrings have the offset teeth. The chain engages smoothly, and I’ve encountered no problems. Some tech advice: A straight chainline between the chainring and the rear cassette should be maintained and that will determine whether you mount the chainring on the inside or outside of some crank arms (also taking care that higher-tooth, larger chainrings may rub on the chainstay, if mounted on the inside). I mounted mine outside. All said and done, expectations exceeded.

I was looking for a larger chain ring for my ebike since I was ghost pedaling on the highest assist level. I selected the largest option at 58T. Turns out that the stock crank and chain ring on my ebike was not standard and wouldn't work with this chain ring. Luckily, I had a 35yr old crank set laying around and this chain ring fit it perfectly. The red accent on the chain ring matches the color of my bike and the narrow/wide teeth prevents the chain from popping off. I was considering adding a chain guard or chain guide, but so far it looks like I might not need it. I didn't even have to get a new chain since there was enough slack to still be able to shift the entire gear range without any issues.I'm now able to not ghost pedal my bike at 28mph which was my primary goal.

This chainring is awesome I love how it comes in many sizes and colors I’ve been looking for one by chainring for sometime now and I don’t regret this purchase at all great investment and it’s super great for the price I got it for. I’ve had it for about.a year now and still going strong no cuts or scrapes on it at all 😍😍great product

Increased my battery range by 20% because now I can apply more pedal power. Before I was pedaling so fast I couldn't keep up with the pedals let alone apply any force.

Very cost effective solution for converting my primary gravel bike to a 1 X 10 drive train. Bought a 50 tooth for the flatlands of south Georgia and a 42 for the mountains of north Georgia. Takes less than 30 minutes to swap out the chainrings and chain to suit the terrain!

Works as intended, almost.Although the product listing says it's suitable for 9-speed through 12-speed, on receipt I found that the chainring itself is labeled 9-speed through 11-speed (this can be seen in the product pictures if you zoom in and look). Although there's very little difference in the roller width between 11-speed and 12-speed chains, I did find that the wide teeth were a hair too tight on my 12-speed SRAM flattop chain, leading to a bit of "stick" where the chain would not separate cleanly from the chainring (highly inefficient at best - potentially disastrous at worst). I'm not sure how much of a problem this might be with other 12-speed chains as I understand that the SRAM flattops are a hair narrower than standard ones. I would've returned it but it was desperately needed so I spent 5 minutes with a file and was able to get those wide teeth fitting perfectly. Yes, this did remove the pretty red anodizing but I worked only on the inside surface and don't mind the result at all. Works a charm now.

Just installed the chain ring, 110 BCD fit perfectly, the inner edge below the holes was too small diameter for my specific cranks, I filed those edges and then was able to install, shifting and chain were all smooth. If your old chainring was tight this one might not quite fit without modification. Weight, machining, all well done.
