If you are not sure of the size of the pedal you want to order, you can use a caliper or other measuring tool to measure the diameter of the pedal spindle. The diameter of the 9/16 pedal is approximately 14.3 mm (0.563 inches), you can compare this pedal based on the measurement results, and then you can draw a conclusion: whether the pedal is suitable for your bicycle.

The pedals on my NordicTrack bike started squeaking over time (yes, I should have been lubricating them) and eventually they seized up. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I hated how those pedals (with the metal teeth) destroyed my sneakers (I'm more of a casual biker, not a hard core spinning enthusiast). These new pedals fit my bike perfectly, and because of their flat bottom, are so much more comfortable to use. The operation is pretty silent. Be careful when installing them to make sure you're trurning them in the right direction. For my bike, you turn it the normal clockwise way to tighten the right pedal. But the left pedal is counter-intuitive, you need to turn it counter-clockwise to tighten. (Just refer to the manual that came with your bike, not a big deal.) Also, the rubber straps can be a little tricky to figure out the right direction to put them on. They are marked L and R so you know which side to put them on. And the ribbed side goes on the bottom (against your sneaker) (just refer to the product photo.)

My old ones cracked and these were the perfect replacements at a good price. Seems very strong so far. I recommend these.

First of all, when you harder these make sure you get the right sized shaft. I accidentally got the larger size (9/16") and had to return for the 1/2" size. This was on a Schwinn 130 upright bicycle. The old pedals broke and were not very comfortable. These pedals are fantastic compared to the OEM pedals. They have a larger surface area and are comfortable to use both barefoot and with shoes. the straps are adjustable easily and the pedal assemblies just feel far better made than the original. Also, just to avoid confusion, the pedal on the left side is threaded reverse from the right side (to prevent unscrewing during use) this is how it's supposed to be. Overall, these are very easy to install, inexpensive, well made, and just look and feel better than the original pedals. I am very satisfied with these and am able to use my upright bike again. 5 stars!

At least the pedal marked "L" had a left-hand thread. Everything else screams LOW QUALITY!First the straps make no sense. You'd think that the end which had all the adjustment slots on it would be the one that goes on the outside -- WHERE IT WOULD BE EASY ADJUST FOR DIFFERENT FOOTWARE. Nope, the end with all the slots hooks around the tab on the inside of the pedal, where it is had to make adjustments. And yes I used the strap marked "L" on the left pedal and "R" on the right.Second, the bearings are poor quality. They'll last for a bit, but if you ride your exercise bike a lot, they'll be toast within a few months. They are also quite rough feeling another hint that they are no good.Third the flats on the axels are not precisely the size of any standard pedal wrench. Futzing around eventually allowed me to slip the 15mm size wrench around the flats so I could finish installing them. Overall, I don't think that these pedals will last very long, and I will not be replacing them with this brand or any of the many similar brands of this type of pedal available on Amazon. Avoid these pedals or be prepared to kiss you $15 goodbye.

These are great large size exercise bike pedals for barefoot use. There are a few small spots that are a bit rough on bare feet, but for the most part I love these things. My bike came with high quality ourdoors meatal pedals that would have lasted forever, but I had to put my sneakers on for my cardio workouts, and they still tore up the rubber soles. I tried these, and they work just as well, but they do not tear my feet or sneakers up during use. Again, there replacements have a few small spots with a slightly rough texture or I would have rated these 5 stars.

I finally decided to replace my pedals on my sunny health 901B excercise bike. I don't use clip in shoes or plan to ever. It's great to be able to just jump on the bike without shoes. Very easy swap.

tl;dr: Look no further; excellent pedals; for quickest results, double-check that you order the right size. My Schwinn 126 exercise bike took 9/16".Background: I have ridden my exercise bike regularly since 2014; I'm now up to a one-hour daily cross-training ride at one of the higher resistance levels, covering the equivalent of 18-19 miles per ride.I bought my Schwinn 126 exercise bike in mid-2014, used, off Craigslist; I think it was at least two or three years old at the time. Because it's now probably a 10-year-old bike, it had developed increasingly loud thumping and grinding noises when I rode. It recently got so bad, that it would jar my knees, and I started shopping for a new used bike. But, because I'm cheap (note Craigslist purchase), I investigated the problem a bit further, and decided it was coming not from the flywheel or anything inside the bike, but might be coming from the only other moving part, the pedals. (A bit of online research turned up the information that magnetic eddy systems very rarely fail in this way.)So, I ordered these pedals. It's a very simple swap, and the new pedals went right on easily, Remember, the left pedal screws in counter-clockwise, so it's "righty-loosey, lefty-tighty" (the opposite of usual) for that one.It was like my old bike had been instantly transformed into a new one. Suddenly, it was whisper quiet. Turns out ALL the noise had been the old pedals! Kind of miss a little of the clunking and grinding noise, though; it drowned out my puffing and wheezing, lol.The one minor inconvenience, is that these pedals tend to swivel upside-down when unloaded. So it takes me a little pawing around to get each foot situated. That's such a minor thing, but I'm looking at the bike right now and both pedals are upside down. My right foot, I can just tap the pedal to pivot it and slip in; my left foot isn't that coordinated. More hi-hat practice for me!I wear 10 4E shoes, and the tarsal straps have just one more adjustment slot to go to the largest setting. If you have normal feet, you'll probably be fine with these straps; if you're paddle-footed like I am, you'll still probably be OK; if you're Yeti-footed or like to ride in work boots, then maybe these'll be more toe straps than across-the-tarsals straps.Because I just installed the pedals, I'm not rating them on durability. And I am checking them before every ride to make sure they haven't started to loosen; they have so far been rock solid, but ya never know. Safety clown sez check your fittings before you hop on to ride, because that's how you prevent injury.
