My vet friend got the toy for their dog, so I figured that was a stamp of approval. When I got the toy for my dog, he loved it. He has not destroyed it, and it's been around for two months and counting. I like that the toy is durable so I'm not wasting my money on five minutes of fun, but it's not something that will damage his teeth like a harder toy might. He had to have a tooth removed in October due to what I assume was a crack from gnawing on something he shouldn't. So I'm trying to be more careful about what I give him.

I bought one out of pet store that was a little smaller and brought it home from a trip I was on. My dogs loved it so much I decided to get this big one! I have bull terriers and they play tug of war with this and he has not falling apart or been destroyed! So in my opinion, it is great for the big heavy chewing dogs.

Great for doggo tug of war with each other & with me. Goood chew toy. No supervision required. Not for puppies. Funny shaped, we laughed at that!

We've had 2-3 KONG versions of this same toy design and they lasted about 2 years each.Just took this out of the wrapper in 2/2024 and within a week, it is split due to much poorer quality rubber.As some reviewers said, it is stiffer and less flexible than a KONG version and between that a less quality materials, it's a total failure only 5 days after it was put into use.Buy a KONG version! It'll cost you more initially, but, over the length of use, it'll be a far better buy!

Dogs not a big fan of this toy, might be because the material of the toy is slippery and my dogs are not able to get a good grip of it. My dogs are not interested in playing fetch with the toy and rarely chew it, but they have tried using it to play tug a few times. Toy is very long though and has held up with being left outside in winter.

... give them this toy. Seriously, as fun and durable as this toy is, it has injured everyone in our house including the dog. I was fairly certain I had a concussion at one point after our dog was shaking this around and it came out of my hand and hit mee in the head. Play with this toy at your own risk. It's a great way to learn how to increase your dodge and reaction skills through active engaging play with your dog.The toy has lasted a long time considering the status of her other toys. The only thing I wish was improved about this toy is that it's not her first toy to go to. As much as I wish she would chew on this over her other toys which are NOT intended to be chewed on, she will always go to something that isn't intended for chewing.50lb 2year old Alaskan Husky
