They worked great as little animals to give away in class. The kids loved them.

ProsThe price is great! I’ve seen plastic figurines like these going for 3x the price. They’re sturdy, solid plastic. The designs are intricate—antlers, hooves, horns, etc. are well formed. Includes texture like fur lines and neck wrinkles.I got five of each animal like the site claimed.ConsI don’t like some of the unrealistic colors like the fluorescent orange mane of the lion or the gold monkey. (My colors are different than the site photos—see my photo, which isn’t quite right either, because in real life, the orange was even brighter than that.)Some have no painted features, i.e. the monkey is just gold, the polar bear is just white. No eye paint on any of them. They are very small—there is a warning for 3-year-olds or under due to a choking hazard—I still wouldn’t give a toddler these. There’s a photo of a kid playing with them on this site, and the animal fills his hand. The figures are significantly smaller than that picture seems. Like the site says, the animals are under 3 inches. But really, all but the giraffe are under 2 inches—the gorilla and monkey are just an inch.I also would like more variety of animals to match their habitat. For instance, there were no cold habitat animals to match the polar bear. No forest animals to match the deer, but you can see what you're getting before you buy because the site is clear about that. All in all though, they are plastic figures. I didn’t/don’t expect Michelangelo-like sculptures, so I am fine with them. I still would like more variety as who really needs five of each animal? But I will be splitting them up among kids to give away later, so I guess that doesn't matter--the kids won't know or care.

Children can choke on these tiny animals. Amazon should look for law suits over this product. Thanks for nothing.
