I love drinking loose leaf tea and different tea blends and this cup is great for that! It comes with a little cleaner for the straw as well which is convenient.

This is my first time having mate and it was pretty good. And having read up on it, this cup is exactly how it should be served, including the Bombilla (spoon/straw). All items are well made and very nice looking. It comes w a small straw to clean the bombilla too. It’s much smaller than I expected (8oz) but not everything has to be a gigantic serving of food so it’s perfect. It’s easy to clean and comes w a lid that has a single opening that doesn’t not screw on and is only a silicone ring to keep it on, which means that when it’s very warm, the ring becomes much more flexible and the lid will come off very easily (a lesson I learned the hard way) so it’s definitely not leakproof. The vacuum insulated design will keep the mate warm. There is no non slip silicone on the base so it may scratch delicate surfaces.I recommend this product.
