Don’t be a dummy like me and fall for the images which make the box look much larger than it is. The dimensions are clearly stated in the ad, and I could’ve figured that out if I’d applied a couple brain cells to my decision-making. But the images shown in the ad make this box appear to be much larger than it is. I was very disappointed once I had assembled it. Unfortunately, my return window had closed so I was out 50 bucks.

This had to be ordered twice. The first shipment got lost, which Amazon replaced at the same price, after a week's delay of wondering how/where it disappeared. The delivery of the second one, when opened, was a shocker. It has NO internal bracing as advertised. And, the screws that were supplied are too short for the pre-drilled holes, making assembly impossible. IF, after going to the hardware store to purchase, at my expense, the 36 screws necessary to hold this together, the lack of internal bracing would still cause this piece of junk to be a hazard to one's health. It's doubtful that it would support the "up to 350 lbs." as advertised. Not willing to chance it, I'll be returning this and ordering a similar product from another vendor.

You have to put it together but it is pretty self explanatory and easy to figure out. Even came with a few extra screws. We are very happy with this product, it works great!

Well I just received this today and the inner bracing pictured inside the box did not come with my order. Hopefully that doesn’t cause any issues and the box will be strong enough but I’m slightly concerned. Good thing I’m little 😂

This box is on par with the step boxes that you see in your local gyms. It was easy to assemble but had a lot of screws. I have been using it as a 12" and 14" step for about two weeks and I am 250ish lbs.

A small corner piece broke off the first week, but otherwise very good purchase. Even better if you have an allen wrench bit attachment for a drill. Otherwise, phew, it is time consume and arm-hurting to put them together.

This thing is crazy strong! Jumping on or off, it doesn't move, doesn't creak, it's like stone! I used my own hex set to put all of the screws in, the standard one supplied can certainly be used, but you might want to wear a glove. If someone complains that the screws are hard to put in all the way...that means they will firmly secure your unit and not fall out! All of the pieces fit easily together; I put one screw in on each of the six sides for support and then proceeded to put all the rest of the screws in, 2 on a side at a time. The wood is almost 3/4" thick, and is varnished or laminated. I use this thing every day.
