Been using theses gloves for handling hot steel and adding wood to the firebox of my offset smoker. So far no burns so these gloves are doing their job well. Worth the price.

Flexible, fit well, all leather, washable and they shrink a little if you need them tighter. I use mine for soldering copper as a plumber. I also bought the matching jacket.

My son is in welding in college. They are comfortable and he uses them daily for class. Durable so far and good fit. Has good protection and holds up to the riggers of welding

This actually work well, really leather, but be warned the gloves can't hold small objects well. Like the welding rods are a challenge to pick up. Especially if they hit the concrete ground.
