METHOD OF APPLICATION
FIRST STEP
Make sure your welder or plasma cutter's plug is NEMA 6-50 plug.
SECOND STEP
Insert the welder's plug into the receptacle of the extension cord.
THIRD STEP
Insert the plug of the extension cord into the socket.
FOURTH STEP
Start your welding or cutting work with added convenience.

Very well constructed cable. Mine came with an STW outer jacket and I was looking for an SOOW jacket so I purchased another brand. If you’re not looking for the toughest abrasion resistance this will work great. Very high quality.

Very good heavy duty extension cable for use with the yes welder or any other welders or appliances that use this type of plug. Never had a problem with mine and I do t think I ever will seeing how heavy duty this is.

Gave 4 stars because I purchased 2 40ft cables both were good quality but one has glossy jacket other has flat finish but still work and worth it for money it's going to get dirty anyway so i kept it. Great purchase Amazon guy wasn't happy they are quite happy weight but they are good. Copper wire. lol

This 20 ft cord gives me the extra room to work around my garage to do my welding, and it was inexpensive and works great with my Lincoln mig180 welder.

Bought this for my Level 2 EV charger, as the 240V receptacle in my garage is in the opposite corner from the charging port on my car. The extension cable works perfectly. Even at full charger load (24 amps) the cable does not get warm or show any signs at all of stress. Seems very well constructed. I am expecting many years of service from it.
