At first let me start by saying that a couple of people said it was heavy that's true it's very heavy you need to be very careful with it number 2 the drum that the fabric rolls around has an inch to an inch and a half bow in it so the fabric sags in the middle the fabric also hits the nut that holds the unit to the wall 3 I want to contact the seller but they want too much personal information to have this replaced.All over the product description / Amazon website it says waterproof then you see water resistant then in the instruction it says not to be used in the rain.4 if you look at the photos they have posted on the website closely you'll notice that one of them has the awning extended but again if you look close you'll see the fabric is coming from the bottom of the drum and it shouldn't be it should be on the top of the drum when it's extended. 5 this is right from their instruction manual level three wind is a gentle breeze 8 to 10 mph their instructions say applicable when wind is under level 3 that's basically when you're exhaling then it says not suitable for rainy weather then on the website you'll notice if you look really hard it says all season ultimate sun protection with our retractable patio awning; Anti-rust and sturdy aluminum frame is covered with breathable and durable polyester fabric with PU coating for excellent UV and water resistance; An all-weather outdoor awning cover that can be simply cleaned with a wet clothEasy To Install: No-hassle installation of this retractable awning for patio is possible with all necessary mounting accessories included; Simply fix the housing to the wall and attach the support post to its base plate or directly to concrete, cement floor, or a wooden deck for maximum stability as you can see from the last few paragraphs you'll notice it says all season well all seasons rain I'm not mistaken correct also it says it comes with a support pole that you attach your to deck or concrete pad instructions clearly stay do not leave out in the rain and there is no support pole that comes with this unit

Build and installation as expected. The hardware this comes with is more for anchoring to concrete. We purchased our own anchors. Very happy.

I put this on the side of my garage so anytime I wanna work outside. I can unroll it and beat the heat.Nice shady area to cut wood, plant, work on jet ski under.

All-in-all good value.I'd say good quality overall. The dark grey with white trim is very attractive.The assembly instructions are a mixed bag; some parts are very clear, while other parts are not very well explained.I'm very happy with the result, and the price... THANKS!
