I have a fungal nail on my big toe. I tried taking out my dremel and 1/4 sanding bands but it generated lots of vibrations and great heat. Bought this and got inexpensive 80 grit sanding bands meant for nails and this just rocks. Almost no vibration. Good control and fast with the 80 grit. Then theree's the cord. It's light and a coiled cord like an old phone cord but much more easily extended. I have had no problems with the cord length at all. In order to remove a nail fungus you have to remove almost all the nail, and for me this is a great tool to do that. Later I'll use the coarse diamond cone to work on my heel calluses.

This is great serger thread. That's its purpose. But I decided to try to use it as a reinforcing thread for knitting sock heels. Big mistake. It made my hands tacky, and it took several attempts with alcohol to get it off. So, if you're looking for serger thread, by all means, get this. If you're looking for knitting thread, look for something else.

I use Woolly Nylon primarily as the underlying "fabric" thread when I make temari balls (Google "temari balls" for lots of pretty pictures). It makes a good, tight covering for the ball, which means that it's easy to secure the ends of my embroidery thread and the embroidery stays in place. And YLI's colors are gorgeous; this is a true Royal Blue, not mislabeled Navy Blue. It will make some beautiful balls.

I used this as bobbin thread to hem stretch shorts. It didn't seem to be any better than standard thread and it's hard to work with.

I bought this wooly nylon to use in my coverstitch machine lower looper. I had read that it will stop you getting skipped stitches on the bottom and it really works well. No skipped stitches on anything I hemmed since useing it. Very pleased will buy more

BEST brand YLI for sewing! Tried others & they are not as good. Use for rolled hems on serger & in hand wound bobbin of sewing machine with double needle for hemming knits.

This worked really well for seams at neck and sleeves, esp. for stretchy knits. Much bigger spool than I was expecting, but that just meant I got more for my money, I suppose.

It was just what I was looking for, invisible string so that I could use it for a magic card trick that I think is very very cool I wish I was a little bit thicker about this stuff does just fine and if you want to so with it I know nothing about that

Good strong durable are all words that would easily describe this product. However, there is a secret and not so common use for this product. For those in the magic community you will know the answer and for those who are not, well lets just say that this is one of the biggest kept secrets in magic! It is the Cadillac of magic tricks and for those of us well worth the knowledge that we pass from one to the other! I strongly recommend buying this in the spool form as there will be plenty to last an average performer a lifetime!
