The YOLESHY double reflective insulation is exactly what I was looking for after a couple of weeks of sub-freezing weather last month. We have a range hood that extends up to the roof which has no real means of insulation. The temperature in our kitchen is a good 10 degrees Fahrenheit lower around our stove on single digit mornings, to include frost forming on the sheet metal above the fan in our kitchen. This double reflective insulation is perfect for insulating the rangehood and eliminating this cold sink in our house. This roll of reflective insulation is easy to work with, cuts with a good pair of scissors to length, and can be doubled or even tripled up if need be. I plan on using HVAC tape to join the pieces and tacking to the range hood. With 25 feet to work with, I should have plenty to work with to include covering some insulation board I have tacked up in place on the underside of the range hood. All in all, I am happy with this double reflective insulation roll from YOLESHY. It doesn’t exactly have the R-value of batt insulation but is so easy to work with and is great for this range hood project as it blends fairly well with the stainless steel of our kitchen and is easily assembled and taken down. It’s a good product priced at comparable prices I’ve seen similar reflective insulation products at. I’d order again.

We have a similar, foldable, insulation sheet made for the windshield of our minivan. It helps a lot in the summer, and this large piece was a great find for me. Now I can trace the blackboards I use for privacy on all windows of the minivan when we camp. Trace, cut and use instead. This will stop the heating of the minivan in the summer, where the black surface is a heat magnet. Of course, it will still provide the needed privacy for when we sleep or retire into the minivan. This huge piece of insulation, where I kept even the discarded pieces after the tracing to use on other projects, has enough to cover our minivan windows, as well as the windows of the double cabin truck of our camping buddy. The leftover will be used in the house for our skylight. In the summer it heats the air underneath it like crazy, well over 140. With the reflective insulation sheet, I should be able to drop the temperature between 15 to 20 degrees. It is thin and light and easy to put on many surfaces.

This type of insulation is so useful. It could be placed in Windows to reflect heat or cold, I'm going to be using some to insulate water reservoirs for my garden to keep the water from overheating in the summer.I'll also be putting some behind my old cast iron radiators to improve the thermal efficiency of my house. The fact that it's flexible makes it much easier to use in this application, especially in spots where there isn't a lot of clearance between the wall and the radiator.

We live in south Florida; our exterior shed suffers tremendously even with an exhaust fan and interior fan. Need this insulation to hopefully bring down the temps especially over the summer. Easy to install. Fingers crossed it helps at least 10-15 degrees.

This reflective barrier is great for lining under roofs, walls, and floors. You can even use this to fit your car windows or other projects. You simply staple this on to roof joist. Do not install flat on roof panels. The joint spaces adds extra r-value. This is easy to cut and handle. Scissors or a razor knife make for a fast installation. I will be lining my attic floors with this too to keep heat in the house during winter. This is a good value compared to what brand names charge for the same material. Overall, very pleased with this radiant barrier.

Good quality double insulation with enough supplied to cover the wall behind the basement stove. easy to cut and comes with 144 self adhesive pads to adhere it to the wall - or whatever you are using it on. Many uses around the house or RV. Good deal.

The insulation reminds me of windshield sun shades. The material is easy to cut, you just need regular scissors. It has enough stiffness to it that it holds shape well when taping it to windows. I've used thermal blankets in the past for this same purpose and it was a nightmare compared to this. Very good thermal protection. This could probably be used in other places besides windows.

Instead of just reflecting the heat, this does both. The following are a collection of honest thoughts from using it at the start of the warm weather season this year.Pros:- It reflects the heat brought about via the UV rays of the sun along with insulating heat from being transmitted into the room.- Bubble patterned insulation is relatively thick and can also be doubled up if needed.- Comes with sticky glue dots for easy attachment to a glass window or other surface.- Lightweight and very flexible with placement.Cons:- Relatively expensive. For this small packet, it costs as much as two pieces of four by eight foam insulation at the local home improvement store.Overall, if you can live with the price, I would recommend this pack of window insulation for a window that has a lot of sun in the summer.
