They definitely help but they're not durable. Buy enough to replace the ones that come off. We didn't want something that permanently attached to the video camera. These definitely reduced the wind noise. It doesn't reduce conversational noise.

Recently added this windscreen to a Sony AX-33 and Sony CX-405.Took my time and realized it would take some trimming of the adhesive to get the best fit.Used scissors and fine tweezers to place the adhesive around the microphones holes.Had to cut the windscreen also and place on the adhesive. My test was a windy Washington State beach last weekend. After carefully listening on headphones it seemed to cut almost all wind noise.I could hear my voice, the waves, birds, and other beach goers but the wind was mostly gone.Normally I don't too many reviews, but these windscreens worked outstanding.Had no issue with them becoming detached or separating. For me the crucial part was using fine tweezers for proper placement and have minimal contact with the sticky adhesive.

These things do what they're supposed to. Block wind noise. I use them on my Valve Index to reduce the intensity of my Fs as the index is pretty noise sensitive and was picking them up fairly strongly. As said by everyone else, they don't stick very well. The adhesive just isn't strong enough.

These are pretty good for occassional videos. I film wildlife at coast. One came off but multi pack means you can just add another.

The “fur” really does a good job blocking the wind when I record on my GoPro while cycling. However, I found I had to superglue the rings to the case to keep them from falling off. The double sided stickies are not the strongest hold, but I see why that would be so as to not cause permanent damage. The number of pieces is more than I expected, so four stars!

Can't tell you how many times a "once in a lifetime" shot was ruined by wind noise. These simple devices GREATLY reduce such occurrences. In some cases, dependent upon the velocity of the wind, they don't totally eliminate the winds' sound, but it is reduced enough to where the "shot" is not destroyed. Highly recommend them.

This provides a noticeable reduction in wind noise, but the glue on three of the 8 supplied items has failed in the middle of the first mountain bike ride each time so far. The glue pad stays on the gopro perfectly fine, but it doesn't adhere to the "mustache" well at all.

Got these for my wife's Canon Sx740 to help rid of wind noise. A d everything I found was to big or was a stick on. Found these and they work awesome and fits perfectly over the internal mic. For the money there made really good and you can add more to an area if needed to if you have a bigger internal mic. Also you get quite a lot in the bag for the price and that's a bonus.

The Camera Mic windscreen works as advertised. I am the a videographer for sports travel teams and the windscreens remove all the usual wind noise from the cameras that we setup for filming. The windscreens have worked on Sony camcorders and mirrorless cameras and Canon camcorders and DSLR cameras. Good quality and the sticker backing stays on through hot and wet days.
