These are true to size! Bought them for our 7 and 5 year old to wear at the baseball field when in the dugout. They can wear them with or without a hat! And super light!

I use this with the youth catchers mask. It works perfect for my 8 year old. He wears glasses so using a traditional catchers mask pulls his glasses off when he tries to take it off fast for a play.
