Son wore for 2 hours and the sliding shorts ripped. Pretty disappointed. I assume they ripped when he was sliding, but they’re sliding shorts, so I expected better quality.

Comfortable boy sized shorts for certain sports.Great protection and breathability a plus. They are stretchable to a degree.

Standard compression short material. Padding goes from top to bottom on the outside of the legs. It's quilted, but not overly thick. There is a vented section running the entire length inside the legs. There is a cup pocket on the inside front. Construction is okay, but not top quality.

The padding is not as thick as I would have liked. If you are using these for baseball and plan on expecting them to hold through a base slide it may not provide much protection. They are very compressive and can be used as a base layer of padding combined maybe. I have a layer of pads I use under these for my community kick ball league and they have held up well after about 6 washes now.

Got a pair of medium's for my 10 year old son who plays competitive baseball. He's a smaller 10 year old who is 57 Inches tall and weighs 68 lbs. He likes the way the sliding shorts fit and the thickness of the padding on the sides. We have sliding shorts that have little to no padding on the sides and he refuses to wear them. The padding on the sides of these could go down the leg to the bottom which would have been better. The writing on the waist band goes all the way around the shorts. Its clearly a continuous fabric that they then cut to size. So at the back of the shorts where the elastic band is sewn together the brand writing runs together. So instead of it saying RCRCKAR on the back like it does the front it instead says RCRCKACRCKAR where the first a is split in half and the C that follows it overlaps it. I'm guessing on a large or X-Large the overlapping letters wouldn't happen. The writing is very blocky and reminds me of opening a picture with writing on it in a paint editor on a computer and zooming in on the text.

I ordered these for my 12-year-old brother, and he loves them! They are extremely comfortable—so much so that he doesn’t mind wearing them all day. The extra padding gives him a bit more confidence and a sense of security when sliding into bases. If you're looking for strong compression, these aren’t super tight; they have more of a comfortable spandex feel. I washed them in cold water and dried them on low heat, and they held up great. Overall, a solid choice for young baseball players!
