This is a great replacement if you have heated mirrors WITHOUT S403A option "Auto-Dip," which means the mirrors dim when exposed to bright headlights. AUTO DIP DOES NOT MEAN THE MIRROR DROP WHEN YOU REVERSE. If your mirror glass has a thick black border then this part is not correct. You will not be able to plug in this mirror if you have S403A. if your mirror has no border then this should be correct, but you can call your BMW dealer and ask if you have S403A with the last 7 of your VIN to confirm,.My car on RealOEM calls for part # 51167285004(right) so the part number in the description of this item is incorrect, but the actual description is indeed correct.

It is easy to install , works well too , I did the swap on the 2012 550i , it just won’t fit the oem plugins , but at the price , it’s a good buy .

Came out to my passenger side mirror being stolen two days ago, researched About the mirror and oem with heated and auto-dim feature is 300 plus. I went with this product because its cheap and honestly i didn't even know what auto-dim does. Mirror arrived the very next day after purchase, and honestly I like the frameless design over oem one with black frame. Also has a widened view on the outside of the mirror to increase visual distance.

The mirror has imperfections in the corner of the mirror. Distorted view compared to the rest of the mirror in the upper left corner.2. The connection for heated mirror are not correct and cannot be field correctedto work with this vehicle. Clearly the connection is for a different vehicle. So not as advertised.So if you dont need heated mirror or dont care and dont mind some imperfections then this mirror will be cheap and do the job. However, as usual Chinese made items typically come up short in quality and this was no exception.Recommend: if you just want a cheap fix.
