Wish I could return part!I switched this usb out i cannot call out. My phone says emergency calls only. I have confirmed and believe its this part I purchased. Before my phone wasn't charging as good. That was the reason i originally purchased this part.My recommendation purchase OEM part.

Now I can only receive and make calls and texts intermittently. Messed up the antenna or something. Don't recommend

It does not seem that there are any OEM charge ports available. It looks like every site that sells them are aftermarket. I tried to contact TCL and ask for a supplier of OEM, but to reply. Bought 2 of these and all have good ports , but the antenna processor sucks! Cannot connect to data, unless signal is super strong. Bought a third from another seller claiming oEM, but same thing. Thought it might be that the connections on the phone might have been messed up when installing the new boards, but put the old board back in and bingo, bad charge and good signal again! Looking at the board, the usb-c connector is loose, and not the solder connecting the housing to the board, just the center inside the housing. Also a few of the other components on the board are different manufactured. Def not OEM! Whoever manufactured these probably cheaper out. I am assuming that those reviewers that say they are getting good signal are either near great signal or shills! So your choice is , no charge and good signal , or good charge bad signal and always be on Wi-Fi ...or get a new phone.

My phone would not charge and I had to buy a new one. This port change wasn't terribly easy, but I was able to change it and reboot my dead phone saving photos!

My wife is hard on cell phones. I have a collection of TCL 10L phones with dodgy charging ports (she likes this model, so always replaces it with the same model).I saw this for sale, and thought what can I lose? So I bought it. Had to see a YouTube video on how to disassemble the phone (which was the most difficult part of this!). 1 hour later, I have a brand new phone again!

I installed it, easily, & it works great for charging. The problem is that it ruined the antenna on my phone. After installing, I noticed that my phone signal started dropping out frequently, & I ended up having to replace the phone, due to not being able to receive calls, or text, normally. Don't know if this is a problem, for all of these boards, but take precaution.

This can seem intimidating, but you got this! The supplied tools are a nice bonus. Slipping under the back cover to release the glue was the hardest part. I actually used my pocket knife to force enough of a gap to use the pry tools. The adhesive is pretty deep, so slide it in at least 1/4". About 10 screws on the bottom area to remove the piece covering the charging board. Then black and white push connectors to the right need removed. Just gently pry up. Then a ribbon connector in the middle top of the board. Same deal, pry up. The old board hangs into the charging port some, so work it loose from the top, working your way towards the charging port. The old one may bend during removal, but not an issue. Hold the 3 connectors out of the way and install the new piece by slipping the charging port down in and then laying it in place. Then put it all back together.QUALITY PART! SAME MARKINGS AS ORIGINAL. Took me about 20 minutes and now even the old crappy cords aren't an issue.
