From the classic Zambalan model "Bartro GT", which boasts a steady-popular lineup of LITE types. The flexible nylon 0.1 - 0.1 inch (2.2 - 2.4 mm) thick leather is made from Perwanger, but the flexible nylon 0.1 inch (3.0 mm) PE (light frame), and the outsole uses Vibram StarLite with excellent cushioning and shock absorption. Weighing in at approx. 22.2 oz (625 g) (EUR42 standard shoe), we have tailored these boots to be worn lightly from summer mountain runs to day trips. Synthetic leather reinforcement at the toe and heel and slits at the ankle flex for a wider range of motion.

Have several pairs of Zamberlan Boots. I have been very happy with all of them. These were the most comfortable boot that I have worn. However, after 2 months of use, the glue holding the rubber sole lost its hold. For the price, I should not have to provide my own glue.

Practical & good looking boot. These lend outstanding ankle / toe support for rugged hikes, stylish & look great! Very comfortable & not heavy.

This is my second pair of Zamberlan boots. I suspect they won't be the last! Just wish I had less expensive taste. These are super light and supportive. They look just like the boots pictured, and are a beautiful royal blue. They really are cool looking. It would have been a real bummer if they didn't perform, but they seem great thus far, and yes I have hiked in them. Very little break in period as they felt great out of the box. They have softened a tad after use and still feel great. I have not used them on rocky surfaces yet, but they are very comfortable even on steep downhill trails. They arrived within the projected window. Per a previous reviewer, they do run narrow, but mine seemed to loosen up rapidly. My other pair of Zamberlans came with 2 sets of laces, this one just those already "installed." I will admit I was nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. Matter of fact, when I picked up the box, it was so light the thought did cross my mind that I'd only been sent one boot! Size wise, I am usually a 40. I tend to wear thick, cushioned socks. These are a 41.5 and fit great. I am thankful for my excellent experience and LOVE these boots, plus had a great sales experience. Thanks again!

I usually wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 in my work boots sometimes even a size 10 in my sneakers because I have white feet however, I am quite OCD about my work shoes being very tight so I ordered these small and got an 8 1/2 thinking that I would be tight and stretch them out hopefully after a week or two however they were actually too big for me. Which means I need to order a size 7 1/2 or an eight which to me is unheard of. I have not worn anything smaller than nine in quite a years and years and years, I really want to order them again but it took over a month to get my money back from Amazon which I was pretty upset about because usually they are good on returns but because it is over $300 it took about five weeks to get my money. Even after a month, it said the item had not been returned, and I had to complain three days in a row for them to give me my money , even though they didn’t have the item yet wish I had no idea why I mailed it back with UPS and after a month they still said they didn’t have it but they were going to give me my money for my troubles anyway so after a month I finally got $300 back and was able to buy other work Shoes . I will say they were pretty comfortable on the feet and they seemed pretty durable and waterproof. I think they are a good shoe. I’m not sure they are worth the money. Maybe to some people they are I work in the tree in the street so I am climbing trees and walking all day carrying branches and logs so I can’t wear a typical work boot I need something it’s more comfortable walking and has a little bit more flexibility for climbing trees so I usually buy hiking boots so overall, I will give them a six out of 10 because the bottom was comfortable and the material was good but they were just way too big and an 8 1/2 and I just could not believe what I was seeing and the fact that if they don’t fit you, it’s gonna take a long time to get your money back

Rind came lose in multiple spots after light wear, Zamberlan said it "doesn't effect performance" but offered to have it fixed for free at a cobbler of theirs.... Got some shoe goo and glued it down so I could keep using them, not a huge deal, but annoying for how much you pay. Heel cup isn't very padded compared to their lynx boot, that's really the worst part.

My second pair of Zamberlan boots. I wear them most days to work and hiking. They are comfortable and waterproof and were an excellent investment.

I bought these for deer/elk/upland hunting in Washington State. Comfortable out of the box and easy break-in. Good stiffness but not overly stiff. Slightly wider toe box and lighter overall weight than the Scarpa Kenisis GTX Pro which were the deciding factors. Have 20-30 miles on them so far. Stayed dry through multiple days of rain and hiking through wet brush. The only downside is finding the right size due to limited shipments and apparently zero ability for US subsidiary to view inventory en route from the parent in Italy. No ability to pre-order or order from parent if you're in the US. I waited 2.5 months for my size (11.5) to reach Zamberlan USA and then got lucky seeing them posted on Amazon. Glad I have them now but a protracted buying process.
