This Purge Solenoid Valve was installed on a 2003 Mazda Protege as a replacement for a broken Purge Solenoid Valve. Local Auto parts stores were charging in excess of $40.00 for a replacement. This is a much more economical solution and there were no issues with the performance.

I had no issues with this part. It fit and worked as expected. Delivery was prompt. Deal quoted a price of $104 for the same part. Napa was some where around $65. The check engine light did not automatically reset when the part was replaced. Had to remove the negative battery cable and reattached before the light went out. Hasn't come back on to date. Part location was just under the plastic dust cover just off of the air cleaner. Couldn't be easier to get to. Took longer to unpack the part than it did to install. Happy customer.
