This is my first mic ever and it works fine for my kind of voiceover projects.It looks really good due to lightning features and we can turn the light on and off with one tap.I’ve never tried any other mics so no idea how this mic compared with other mics.

I loved the mic initially. I got it in May and it’s now July and I’ve been having issues with a high pitched sound coming from the mic. Especially when the light is on. When the cuts off on the mic then the high pitch sound goes away. It’s a little frustrating.

I picked up this USB microphone set, and it has exceeded my expectations for a beginner-friendly setup. The sound quality is impressive for the price, with clear audio that captures my voice well even from a distance. Setting it up took around 15 minutes, and the included instructions made the process simple. The adjustable boom arm has multiple points of articulation, allowing for flexible positioning, and it clamps securely to my desk.The RGB lighting is a fun feature that adds a nice touch to my gaming setup, although the mic’s lighting only offers a rainbow effect without customization. Fortunately, the boom arm’s lights are more versatile, offering solid color options and effects. I also love that you can turn off the mic’s lights by holding the mute button without muting the mic itself - super convenient!One downside is the plastic clamp, which feels a bit flimsy, but so far, I haven’t had any issues. The built-in headphone jack and volume controls are a great bonus, making this mic ideal for gaming, streaming, or podcasting. For the price, it’s a solid deal that looks cool and works well.

Terrible microphone. Upon trying to use recording would create a piercing high pitch sound that made video uneditable. Occurred after first use with my purchase, nothing creating feedback. Tried troubleshooting and no resolve. Amy customer care sent a replacement which had the same problem. Save your money - not worth the buy.

***THIS IS AN UPDATED REVIEW. THERE WAS AN ISSUE CAUSED BY HAVING THE MIC PLUGGED INTO A USB SWITCH, FOR WHICH THE SELLER REACHED OUT TO ME AND HELPED ME FIX THE ISSUE. SO FOR CLARITY AND TRANSPARENCE, ALL MENTIONS OF THE ISSUE HAVE BEEN REMOVED. ALSO, RATING WENT FROM 3/5 TO 4/5.This is a very nice starter microphone!Pros:- YOU CAN TURN OFF THE LEDS WITHOUT MUTING THE MIC : Some reviews are stating that you can't do it, THAT'S NOT TRUE. Simply touch and hold the mute button! The LEDs will turn off and it won't mute the mic. To mute it, it's a simple tap.- Nice LEDs overall : The LEDs on the mic look very smooth. They're well diffused, so you can't really spot individual lights. As for the boom mic, I like that you have more control over them. They're a pretty unique feature, and even if you're going for a more minimalist look, you can set them to white or turn them off easily.- SOUND QUALITY: To be clear, I'm no sound expert, and this is my first real microphone, so my standards were really low. But to my ear, this mic sounds amazing! Audio is very clear, and voices sound the same as they do in real life. I'm pretty sure I can say this is a great mic for beginners, amateurs, or people that need a mic for cheap.- Headphones pass through: Plugging headphones in this mic is great, it has absolutely no perceptible delay whatsoever between you speaking and the voice you hear, so it feels natural. Also, there's no delay between the computer's output and your headphones, so this is great to watch movies without delays. And finally, this mic kind of acts as an audio interface, so the sound quality of the transmitted audio is great! At least, I can hear a noticeable difference between this and Bluetooth for my headphones (Sennheiser HD 458BT)Cons:- The LEDs on the mic look good at first, but they don't have any setting other than ON with a full brightness rainbow fest, or OFF. I wish they had the same controls as the mic arm does (or they could be synchronized.) Also wish that the arm LEDs would turn ON and OFF automatically, like the mic's LEDs.- The table clamp feels cheap, is plastic and not made for very thick tables. My desk is 2 in / 5 cm thick, and it didn't fit (just barely). Fortunately, I had an older arm with the same type of C-clamp, but it was metal and could accommodate my thicker desk, so it worked out fine, but that could have been a massive disappointment.Overall, this mic is quite a good deal! I use it daily as an audio interface and it works great. But you have to plug it straight into your computer, avoid any hub or USB switch, or you could face a whining issue like I did. Would recommend!

I film on my iPhone 12 ( base model) , so no fancy audio, and finally decided to get an external mic, I went through 2 others before getting this one, and yeah, I'm pretty happy with it, I instantly noticed an improvement, I went from sounding like I was talking inside a plastic bucket to having a more full-bodied sound, it eliminated that " air" background sound, , I no longer sound tingy, and I also don't sound like Im mostly coming out of just one speaker, this compared to the other 2 I bought on amazon ( for around $30-$40 each) is the best! Just uploaded my first video recorded with this mic and I wish I could re-record them all with thisit's not the best on the market, but it's the best for $50-$60 that I have personally used, and for the kind of videos I make ( tutorials) , it's more than good enough as I don't have to game with it or use it outside, also I need to point out that it sounds just as good about 3 feet away from where I'm recording as it does when it's just about 6-8 inches from my face, that impressed me a lot ( I admit I can do without the RBG lights) but I realize its a " gaming" mic. , if you want to see what it sounds like on youtube ( because as you may or may not know, youtube reduces the quality of uploads) check out the videos I made after ( 6/25/2023) , all the videos before that date are with just my phone's internal mic, Channel name" Just Vintage Crochet "
