Check Pen is a good product by Zebra, a known name for pens in Japan, though it is made in China. As far as I can remember, this product carries the same quality level that I used to know when I was growing up in Japan and trying to memorize things for tests.I was curious how Check Pen (this product) compares with the other similar memorization pen that I bought earlier on Amazon (Memorization pen, no company name printed on the pen). In terms of quality, I see no difference between Zebra pen and Memorization pen.The Zebra pen comes with only the red pen -- green sheet combination and the eraser pen. The other product Memorization Pen (the comparable product on Amazon) comes with both red and green pens and red and green plastic sheets (the eraser pen can be found at the end of each pen included in the package).I wouldn't say one is better than the other. Both are functional.The Zebra pen comes with a larger size plastic sheet than the Memorization pen.

It's alright. I love the concept though.I visited Japan about 10 years ago and bought a red/green set similar to this. It was nice thick, high-quality plastic material. I still have them, but they are a little on the small side. I saw this on advertised on Amazon and the size seemed perfect so I ordered it.I just received it today. It is flimsy thin plastic film that had damaged edges. Not worth it. This is the same type of material that sells in the US to cover reports. Buy that instead for several sheets per dollar. The marker also bleeds through paper, so that also can be bought here for a much better price.Disappointed in this product. :(
