Perfect gift for a child. I gave this to a 8 year old and we had to pry this from his hands for him to eat dinner. After dinner he got it done and now is having an amazing time with it. Now I want one.

Absolutely the worst project I have seen! 8 year olds can figure out the disasterous instructions on this nightmare? I THINK NOT! No written instructions only tiny pictures of near identical parts very poorly labeled. Just cutting out the 5 panels of parts and putting those into the 6 bags provided (by the way several parts have no bag assignment so good luck keeping track of those microscopic pieces). with no reasoning took over an hour! I have put together entire bunk beds that had less parts and better instructions! Oh and if you do put something together incorrectly and need to go back nope the pieces break. I can not emphasize enough just how bad this product is! unless you enjoy IKEA type projects that are guess work and have an engineering degree I recommend running away.

I purchased the robot for my 9 year old grandson and he loves it. It was easy for him to design and make the robot in many different versions. It is very durable and works great. I will definitely purchase again.

I have bought this and several other toys like them for some of my grandchildren who are smart and active boys; ranging in age from 7-14. I know they will enjoy them. I live far away from them and lucky if I see them once a year! I pray they live them.
