This is a two person job to install. Building it isn’t too tricky but putting it up IS

After reading many reviews on the curved shower rods giving you more space in the shower I thought, yeah, right. We prefer a tension rod, so I ordered this double curved rod in black. It really does give you more elbow room in the shower! The color black looks sexy against the new steel blue we painted the bathroom. Being a family of 5, we use the outside rod to hang towels after a shower. It is strong, solid, and looks great. We use the shower hooks that match the curtain, and have no problem opening or closing it. We are so happy with it that I ordered an extra one as we all know, they don’t last forever, and I don’t want to risk this one not being available. A fair price, great quality, strong, and sexy. Couldn’t ask for more than that!

We could never get this rod to stay up. It falls over and over again. Have done all troubleshooting, doesn’t work. Do not recommend this rod- I am very disappointed. When we twist it- it does not tighten up- just goes back right to where it was before. Frustrated we now have to find another solution.

This shower curtain holder does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The non slip backing really holds this in place. I like the concept of setting length then being able to rotate one end of the rod for higher tension. The rod is very sturdy. The product itself is 5 stars but instructions are a bit hard to follow. For that this gets 4 stars

How I arrived at my overall rating: ***** (5 star)Value ***** (5 star) Purchase price range: ~$40Quality/Durability ***** (5 star) Duration of use: 20 monthsEase of Use/Assembly/Install: ***** (5 star) Tension mount, no need to drillUsefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: ***** (5 star) Has held up with daily use. I checked in early on to see if it had to be tightened and it didn't budge. We use the one of the curtain rods as an additional towel rack, perfect for drying bath towels. NO RUST detected and don't expect any.

My shower looks so spacious, and it hangs well. Installation was a bit difficult, but it was well worth it. I installed it without the end covers, and it actually looks much better.

Replaced an old rusted tension rod. Instant update to a 30 year old bathroom. Got in the oiled bronze color. Could match black or rubbed bronze fixtures. Slight curve gives a little more elbow room for the 6ft moneky arms in my household. Was easy to assemble but installation was achieved after a minor argument with the hubs....mostly because I needed his help and there was football on. I wasn't quite tall enough to hold in place and adjust the tension mounts by myself. Only took about 30 minutes to assemble and install. Been hanging for a few weeks, the extra bar gives space in the bathroom for my 3 boys to hang their towels without interfering with the closing of the shower curtain....now if they would pick them up BEFORE their mother fusses about the messy bathroom! #lifeambitions! As someone else said, the covers on the end of the curtain rods jiggle. It annoyed me when I hung it up b/c I like to have everything tight and snug, honestly though, unless you reach up and touch the end brackets you don't know they're loose. Only function is to make the ends pretty anyway. I don't even notice anymore. I splurged on matching roller shower hooks. Glad I did. The curtain sails across the rod and makes a very satisfying whoosh!

This thing is great, it’s extremely sturdy, goes up fairly easily, and doesn’t look like a tension rod once it’s up. I bought one for my mom as soon as I got mine up. Love the secondary bar for drying things with the curtain closed. I almost didn’t buy it because of some of the negative reviews and I love it so much I want to address that.Things I’ve seen in other reviews: hard to put up alone/issues with the set screw while installing... they have either changed something or those reviewers didn’t read the instructions. This tension rod has 2 types of adjustability, a set screw on each bar for a strong hold close to the correct size of the opening and twist on both bars for Fine adjustment. You want to build the whole assembly on the floor, tighten the twist adjustment on each bar so it is at its smallest setting, measure the opening, set the assembly so it is a smidge smaller than the opening, put in set screws to about 75%, lift into place and twist the bars to widen until sturdy, then finish screwing in the set screws until they are flush with the rod. With both methods of adjustability this is a a very strong bar.End caps loose/noisy... yes the end caps only click on with two points of contact so they do juggle a bit. Once I got this up it was unnoticeable and does not make noise when I open and close the shower. In both showers I have installed it in there is a slight ledge that I used as a guide to place the bar and just resting the assembly on that stopped the noise. Stuffing it full of foam as others have suggested would also work... I’m not sure how this would be fixed except by 4 points of connection which would probably make it really difficult to get in and off the ends.

Love the new rods - no drilling required. Set up took less than half an hour - more time was spent removing glass doors than setting up the rods. The satin nickel is a nice finish and matches well with the other décor. Great product for the value.

It was easy to install. Install both ends C into bracket B then put metal cover over the two rods. Install the two plastic inserts in the ends. Then install the two bars D to bracket A, then put metal cover over and connect the rods together. The two metal covers just pop on. Put the two tiny pins E in and tighten once you spread out your rods to desired length. Then turn the two rod ends by hand to achieve maximum pressure against the wall..... righty tighty lefty loosy. Simple and I just saved you from reading the 4 page mess of a manual.
