This actually helps with the ankles. I had made one out of pipe insulation. So I had the general idea. But this actually holds on to the bottom of the chair. Good product

It velcros onto the foot bar ok, but the diameter is too small to be comfortable. Recommend you buy something at least 4/5” in diameter. Your ankles will thank you.

Bought to use on footrest of my zero-gravity lounge chair. Needs to be a bit thicker (more padding) and a bit longer such as to cover the entire width of the footrest. Need more padding due to the need, as a taller person, to rest my ankles/calves on it when the chair is fully reclined.
