This is my second Zilco hackamore. I've used mine for several years and my horse is very comfortable in it. She has a fairly slim nose and a delicate face. It's as tight as it can go but it fits well with the addition of the chin strap. I did have poke a few more holes in it. I bought this one as a gift for someone. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

This S Hack did not fit well at all. Hung done on horses nose instead of straight across. Horse hated it and snorted every few seconds like she was trying to get rid of it. I expected a lot of quality for the price of this product. It did not deliver in quality. I was on vacation when it arrived and I sadly missed the Amazon return date and I am stuck with a second rate product. Wish I never bought it.

This hackamore fit my warmblood who hates bits perfectly, and he’s going great in it! I love that I can still release pressure with this when training like a bit vs the bitless bridles which take longer to release the pressure. 10/10 would recommend. I will say it prob would not fit a smaller nosed horse well.

I like this hackamore, I wish there was a little more padding around the nose piece but that can always be added. The only thing I dislike about it is that the prong for the nose band sticks straight out.

Absolutely love this hackmore. I have another S-hack I had been using but it didn't have slots for the headstall to attach to and the noseband was leather. This one by Zilco is far superior quality. My mare is an Arabian- Saddlebred cross and we ride endurance.

I have several hackamores and recently purchased this one for my very large mustang. I have to say we love it! First time I rode him out in it he was very soft and relaxed and responsive even riding in a ring...he is usually not happy working in a ring. It is pretty adjustable and fit his big head well. Seems well made and hoping it lasts a long time. Love it...

Lovely piece of kit and very quick delivery.I needed something bitless for a youngster who currently has tooth problem. I also didn't want anything severe nor did I want across over type as she doesn't like them. After much research it was the choice of this S hackamore or the Flower type. I found the Flower you needed to do up tightly for it to take effect. Whereas the S hackamore, it can be done loosely but still have control and communication. With it being fully adjustable it fits a TB type right up to draft.Have now used it on all my horses with success.
