Same as everyone else stops igniting, come on zippo do better! The ignition system is poorly designed, whoever engineered this should start over! They use a wire sticking out of the plastic to make contact with the metal pieces to ignite the flame, if it would ever ignite! If it worked like it should it would be fantastic! If anyone has one and still not working go to the store buy a long lighter for lighting a grill or something and take it apart and take the piezoelectric igniter out and put it in the zippo, mine has been fine ever since doing this! Hope it helps

Only worked for about two weeks then stopped igniting. Zippo replaced it and the replacement only lasted about two week as well and same problem.

Ordered the torch ignoring its low rating, had to returned it because it would not ignite at all. Amazon sent a replacement got it the next morning, It ignited once and I could not get it it light again. Only way it would ignite was to use another lighter to fire it up (not good). Not to mention that I wasted a can of butane. Needless to say I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.

The quality seems to checkout; however, pay attention to where the flame adjuster knob is at! You cannot turn the flame off by pressing on/off trigger, but instead, have to reach in to turn the knob to off. This present a huuuuge risk and is extremely dangerous because it gets very very hot from the flame making it a burning hazard when trying to turn it off. Without heat gloves on, you won’t be able to turn it off if flame is set on high setting.

I used this 4 times and now it will no longer light. I can hear the gas and can light it if I use another lighter but it will not light on its own. I should paid attention to the other customer reviews that also stated this.

After wasting copious amounts of gas with my cheap leaky torch, I decided to invest some real money on a real torch. I use torches for cooking, I frequently make tomato sauce, and that involves peeling A LOT of tomatoes. And the best way of doing so is by using a torch, but it was a hassle that I had to fill my old torch beforehand, and at least once refill it mid process, and that frequently turned into a gooey mess. The build quality on this is better than any other torch I’ve seen, and I was pleasantly surprised by its massive size also, what should mean longer run times. I spent 4 times what I had spent on my first torch, but I think it’s worth it. If this thing lets me down, I won’t hesitate on coming back here and changing this review with a fury worthy of all the extra dollars I paid on it.
