These are cutting through porcelain and ceramic great for me. They’re not breaking off at the tip like my others. Happy with these.

Great results when used on softer materials… So far, I’ve used these bits on two types of tile. In both cases, these bits made perfectly smooth round holes with no chip out around the edges of the holes. I was able to drill within a ½ inch of the edge of the tile and the edge remained intact (no cracking of the tile). The bits did not skate around on the smooth surface when starting the hole. Drilling speed is quick when the material is soft like the type of tile that has a red clay body beneath a glazed surface, however, the rate of drilling progress slows significantly when you come across a very hard material like a porcelain tile that has the color all the way through. It will still drill through it, but it takes a very long time (comparatively). In these instances, the temperature of the bit also increases significantly. I use water from a spray bottle to frequently spray and cool down the bit.

Purchased for my son and he loves them. Eats through multiple surfaces with ease either wet or dry. Well made and tough enough if you don’t abuse or misuse them.

Nice set. However tried to drill some holes and the bit was destroyed half way to the 2nd hole. Didn’t return as the door tem been used. Will look for more durable bits next time.

Did NOT work on cinderblock or concrete.. Not even close. STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER 2 1/2 MONTHS.
