Though I don’t have pets , in my cold climate my fig trees grow indoors and I needed a good quality to use as mulch, otherwise if I use regular mulch I could bring some unwanted insects and bugs inside the house then getting rid of them is a big chore . This product is excellent

Really great. No dust no smell and keeps humidity over 70% with light misting every few days. Best substrate I've had in years. 1 bag covered a 3ftx1ft viv with a 3 inch depth and still 1/3 bag left

I prefer this for my ball python. It's less expensive than coco, he doesn't get it stuck in his mouth, it's softer, doesn't stain, and it retains moisture well. It takes me 1.5 bags to put 4" in the bottom of my 36 x 24 x 18 enclosure.

I liked that it's a well used item among reptile pet owners. My biggest gripe is I wish it came in a even larger bag bag. I ordered 2 8.8 bag size. 1 bag was great for a 40gal zilla reptile tank with a slide screen top.

Great stuff. Hold humidity well and looks natural. The only thing I would do if your order some. Is to bake it at 250f-300f degrees, to kill any hitchhikers that may come with it and then let it cool completely before added it to a reptile tank or anything like that. Great stuff. Will/would buy again.
