Optimal for use with larger terrariums where greater than 12" of UVB penetration is needed. The ReptiSun 10.0 is also recommended for use above screen covers which can filter out up to 50% of the UVB wavelengths."

Ya que no tengo punto de comparación o algún otro método para demostrar la calidad de la lampara, solo diré que vale la pena darle la oportunidad.

The idiots at the pet supply store said EVERYTHING we needed was in the kit that my wife bought, which was very wrong. We bought our bearded dragon (Little Monster) just before Christmas and with the hectic schedule I didn't get to do the required research in depth until a couple weeks later. Our bearded dragon had grown slightly slower than the ones she was with when we bought her, but once we added this UVB light to the tank to help her create vitamin D3 to metabolize her calcium, in about a month or so our bearded dragon has surpassed the size of her brothers and sisters at the pet store by about 25% and the only thing different is the UVB bulb. I had a hunch this would make a difference, but I was shocked. If you're going to buy a reptile and haven't had one before, do your research up front if possible, and buy your tank, basking stones, lights, crickets/roaches etc. up front, and be sure to include a quality UVB bulb such as this one. This has great reviews, both here and on all the bearded dragon sites I've looked at. Remember to replace them every 6 months.

届くのは早かったのですが、発送メールが来たのは商品が届いた数日後。商品はプチプチに包まれて届いたのですが、何故か謎の毛が入っていてドン引きしました。商品自体は問題なさそうです。

Great bulb!!!This bulb was highly recommended by a bearded dragon group after I took in a rescue beardie. She had been without UVB for several months and was in horrendous shape. I started running two bulbs on her tank with a separate heat lamp, and the effects of her neglect were reversed :D(along with good lighting, she was also started on a GOOD DIET and veterinary care)This bulb was also highly recommended by the vet, so how could I say no?This bulb is supposed to last a year, but I am going to change it out probably every 6-8 months to maintain proper UVB release. This seller was excellent, I will buy again :D

5 star perfection does not exist in this world, hence the 4 star rating.Replaced a CFL UVB/UVA (because now I know a lot more w/ to quality and eye damage) with this Reptisun lamp. Before my bearded dragon's color was extremely muted. In actuality, I really could not tell what color he was...just a mottled grayish/brown. After just 2 days with this lamp his reddish hue has become readily apparent. He seems more active and appears to be "happier".Very pleased with this purchase.

This bulb has kept our red-eared slider in good health for many years. His shell stays in good shape due to the strength of the bulb. The turtle is in a 20-inch high tank AND has a screen cover, so I buy the Reptisun 10 over the Reptisun 5 because its UVB rays travel a further distance than the 5 model. I replace the bulb every 12 months even though the bulb still lights up, because the UVB light comes from the coated glass which wears out after a year. I keep the light on at least 12 hours a day.I also use a 100-watt incandecent UVA bulb for 4 hours a day, which is supposed to help the turtle's appetite.

Reptiles need UVB; this light is perfect for my tortoise. I had to replace his old light and though this brand is slightly more expensive, it's worth it. They last longer and have a great output.Update: My Sulcata is still going strong two years later, and I've replaced this per manufacturer recommendation every six months or so to maintain optimal UVB output. She (I have since discovered "he" is a lovely girl tortoise) is thriving and has no bone or shell issues! :) I just wanted to add this update when I went to reorder a few lights because it is that great. I always keep these on hand.

Got what I expected. Would need to revisit after some time to testify as to the longevity of the bulb But it got here in good shape with no problems. The price was good. Keep in mind when purchasing these bulbs that the actual fixture you're using may be cheap and possibly will not last long so it might be a good idea to purchase a new fixture and bulb combination based on the pricing. I was barely able to remove My old bulb from the fixture in order to install the new one so I might consider buying the fixture and bulb combo next time because it's not much more money.

This was exactly what we needed for our bearded dragon, and saved us a lot of money compared to the local pet stores. It shipped quickly and was packaged well. We noticed a difference in our beardie's behavior within a few days of putting this light on his tank. (When we first got him he had not been kept under proper lighting, was lethargic and barely ate anything at all. We don't know how long he was kept that way since he was full grown when we took him in.) Now he spends lots of time basking and running around, and his appetite has improved.

After buying a bearded dragon I was in need of a UVB bulb. I searched and kept getting confused as there were so many types of bulbs. I joined a forum or two and during my reading I found articles saying the curly compact bulbs were linked to cases of blindness in reptiles. This was recommended to me in a post I made on one of the websites. It seems to be working fine, so far. I've had it for several days and run it about 10 hours a day. My dragon seems to love it and is a lot perkier since it was added to his tank (I didn't have a UVB bulb for about 3 days). I can see no reason not to recommend this bulb.
