Setting this up is not difficult nor does it take too long. Charging up does not take as long as I expected. The sound was pretty clear and decent. This works best when your audience is within your reach and can hear you better. I have used it a few times and have no tun into any issues.

I am constantly losing my voice from overuse in a variety of speaking engagements. I use portable microphones to help me lower the strain on my voice, while still amplifying it so that everyone in the room can hear me clearly.I have tried several of them and the one thing that I've hated in all the others is that I have to put on some sort of headpiece and also clip the device to me in some way while using it. The problem with this is that the headset often gets tangled in my hair, and I also don't always wear pants for the device to be clipped onto. With this specific product, you can set the speaker off to the side and just clip the mini microphone to your shirt. It is a little tricky getting it clipped just right so it doesn't flop over and you can still be heard. However, when you've gotten the hang of it, the duo works like a dream. I can walk around the room with ease without having the speaker attached to me, and it is overall such a small device that I can take it with me outside as well.My only caveat, is the connection indoors works better than outdoors...maybe due to being farther away from the microphone when I'm outside. Either way, I am still glad this exists and I would definitely recommend it.

This amplifier does work as described. It does not get very loud. Will work well in a small room. Do not get the Microphone close to the speaker or it'll be terrible feedback. It's cool to have but maybe more of a kids toy. Feels cheap. I would recommend paying more money for a louder set up.

This thing seems like a good idea but it really doesn't function as you'd want it to. The mic clip doesn't make any sense. There's nowhere you could clip it to have it effectively pick up your voice. You pretty much have to hold it the whole time. Also the feedback you get if you are too close is horrible.

I bought this for presenting my PhD dissertation defense. After charging, I tried to press the power button on the mic and it instantly caved in. The momentary switch on the PCB shared off its solder joints internally.Thankfully I was able to disassemble theoc and fix it myself. After I resoldered the switch, everything worked as intended and I could speak with the mic on one side of the room and the speaker at least 10 feet from me in the middle of the room. The sound quality was perfectly fine for a presentation Think a little better than the sound quality of a walkie talkie.Still, the poor quality of the internal soldering means I would not trust buying this or any product from this company again. If I weren't an engineer, I would have returned this for my money, but I needed it immediately.
