I bought the set for this specific cable needle, and it’s been great! I don’t like straight cable needles because I’m afraid of them sliding off, especially if they are metal, plus they get in the way. This one solves both problems! This photo is shown on sock needles and yarn, for size reference.

I really wish the description of these had included the knitting needle size, or even better, the mm circumference. That's the measurement which matters most.They seem good enough, I would like them a little pointier, but most people wouldn't.The pink large Shepard's hook is 4.5mm.The red and yellow V and U shaped are 4mm.The blue W is is 3mm.The small yellow V and blue Sheppard's hook are 2.25mm.It is hard to find 2.25mm, I'm glad to have them.

These work fine but honestly I was wanting shorter pieces so it wouldn’t keep getting caught as I was knitting. But they work well still

Love these. I needed to keep trying sizes to figure out which one I needed to hold the amount of stitches that were in the cable. These gave me that option of different sizes and shapes
