I love these knives and they’re so inexpensive and can go in the dishwasher. I have four of them for my guests when I serve steak. Cuts beautiful thin slices of anything. Also your go-to for croissants or soft bread. Just be careful not to cut yourself; these are very sharp, and not for kids to use. I've never had one dull to the point I needed to sharpen it, but it’s possible with the right tools and a pro can do it one day if needed

This is my favorite knife. My brother gave it to me more than twenty years ago. More than anything, I use it for cutting fruit, but it cuts everything well. It has never been sharpened. I use it all the time so it rarely goes in the dishwasher.I decided to look for another one, to give the original one a break, and I found this one, (the green one). The model number is different, and it’s smaller than the original, but it’s very nice and cuts fruit great. If I were judging it against the original, I would give it 4 stars, but that wouldn’t be fair.I look forward to having this knife a long time, and now that I have seen the quality, I’m going to order two more.

Nice weight, not as heavy as a wood or pricier handle, of course -- but still better than most plastic models. Quite sharp!! Great serrated blade, the teeth are: lots and lots of wee little teeth -- making precision cuts a breeze.

Knife cuts great which is certainly important, however, the handle itself is a little small. I have large hands, but even my wife agrees that they are a little small. We have a Wustoff Silver point version of the same knife, which appears to only be made in a more expensive version now, an we seem to prefer that one. Still, not a horrible knife.

Best little knife I ever owned. Seriously. I purchased two of these from a specialty store in Mystic, CT five or six years ago and they are still as sharp and useful as the first day I owned them. That store has since gone out of business and I wanted more and here they are. I use them for EVERYTHING from cutting meats to vegetables and breads. They are sharp, very durable, and easy to clean. Perfect little knives.

I originally got this knife in a set of 4 diff. ones by Zwillling over 10 plus years ago. We used it daily for toast, bagels etc. it worked great. Well finally, it broke. The size was so perfect in the hand, not too big or small that I set out to find it again. Leave it to Amazon to have a seller for just this knife, since I did not need a whole other set again. Got it, love it, wish I had bought another one as a back up in about 10-15 years!!!If you don't want to deal with a monster serrated bread knife like most of them are, this bread knife is definitely the one for you. Zwilling is the better of he JA Henckels line IMO. IF you need 4 utility knives for parring etc. get the whole set of four. Each color does a different job. This serrated bread knife is superb in every way!! Get it, you won't be sorry.
