It works but for some reason my color cameras only shown black and white with it. I used the same disk and power supply as my lorex DVR that stopped working.

Def requires techie nerd to setup properly. Don't use the QR code in the manual to install the side-loaded APK ... use TSEye from Google Play store instead then use "Login locally" option to connect ... use WAN IP when not connected to your home network (after changing your router to forward port 5800 to the IP of the device). No need to create an account anywhere.2 months later and it's now dead ... the power supply for the hard drive is dead.I do not recommend

I have a handful of 720p cameras with bnc analog, and needed to get them into MotionEye. This nvr took the cameras no problem, and each has an rtsp output stream no problem.It's effectively a converter from hardwired analog cameras to IP.I've not used it for anything else, but the graphical interface seems pretty simple, too.4 stars only because I get random video loss of each camera for a few seconds at a time. If I were sure this were the nvr, I'd go 3 stars, but it's possible it's the wiring or camera power supply, so 4 stars seems like a good compromise for it being unknown. I'll update if I ever find the problem.
